When I was little we had a room in my house that was kept locked and everyday my mom told me to never go in there so what did I do one day when me and my big sister were home alone we decided to go in the room so we went to look for the key and found it in my moms room in a box under her bed we unlocked the door and went in but there was nothing in there but a chair we told our mom we went in and she explained to us that before me and my big sister were born when they moved in to this house the previous home owners who were them ghost hunter people told her that this house is haunted with an evil spirit and they had it locked up in that room and ever since weird things have happened like the fridge swinging open at night and my dads guitar strumming randomly etc we moved out a year later

Fanny Vicente so there’s a lot of different versions but the most common one is that there is a stretch of highway in Chatsworth South Africa that is haunted by this ghost Sheila. The story goes that Sheila was hitchhiking home one night and some dudes picked her up but instead of taking her home, they raped and murdered her. Now if you drive on the highway and spot Sheila hitchhiking and offer her a ride home (and actually take her home), by the time you get to her house she won’t be in the car with you anymore. BUT another version of the story I’ve heard is that if you pick her up but don’t plan on taking her home then you’ll crash your car or something.

I have another babysitting story: One time I was babysitting a little girl and after dinner she asked to eat ice cream for dinner, so I sent a message to her parents asking if their daughter if she could have ice cream. They of course agreed so I went to the kitchen to get some ice cream from the freezer, I also got sprinkles and chocolate sauce for the ice cream. I asked the girl what movie she wanted to watch, the girl chose to watch Harry Potter and the Philosophers' Stone. After a while the girl asked for a second serving of ice cream. I go to the kitchen and open the freezer,cold air gushes out at me and I smell the rotten scent of a rotting corpse, then for a split second I thought I saw a severed head in the freezer. I close my eyes and the head is gone. I get the ice cream and continue watching the movie. The girl asks me if I was okay since I wasn’t focusing on the movie, I didn’t want to scare her so I lied and said I worried that I was going to fail a test at school. The rest of the evening went by fine, the girl fell asleep at some point and I decided to text my brother about the thing that I saw in the freezer. At first he thought it was a hallucination but then I told my brother that I felt the cold air and smelt the corpse in the freezer.My brother told me to stay put and wait for him to come. My brother came to the house where I was and told me to call the girl's parents while he carried the girl to her bed. I called her parents and they came immediately. When they arrived they asked me what was wrong so I told them the entire story. They explained to me that I was just hallucinating after a long day to calm me down. The parents left the house again but my brother decided to stay with me for the rest of the night. I stopped babysitting after that incident and me and my brother doesn’t bring it up anymore.

This is actually a Hawaiian story . It's about our Hawaiian Goddess Pele . Around maybe 3 years ago at least a few of my Hawaiian teacher's uncles were babysitting her and her siblings late at night when they were super young , they were drunk . When the parents arrived home , they told the relatives to head home assuming they were sober enough to drive , somewhere around the big island in Kona we have a road that is incredibly twisty and curvy and stuff . That road does kill people at times , especially people who are not sober. As they were driving , they encountered a young woman hitchhiking and they decided to pick her up , it was cold and late at the time , and a lot of hawaiians do love to spread some aloha to one-another . So they picked her up , and they started talking (sorry , im rushing the story at this point haha) . They made a pretty normal conversation until it grew quiet. The woman then asked " can you focus on the road ? " and one of the men joked and said " no ! We've been drinking almost all night ! " , so the women grew quiet and then asked " do you have a cigarette ? " one of the men gave her a cigarette , and then they asked " do you need a lighter ? " she didn't need one , because when she didn't reply for a little while , they looked into the rear-view mirror and saw the woman lighting the cigar with her hand , and they immediately knew it was Pele , Goddess of Fire . They were horrified , and ended up focusing on the road until they dropped her off . Nobody else I know has had an encounter with Pele yet , but i would love to hear more stories about it .

When I was 5 I heard a woman screaming and I knew it was real because when I leaned in it got louder but got quite when I leaned away. I went a checked all the rooms and everyone was asleep and everytime I went in a room I heard the screaming. Finally I woke up my mom and she opened the back door and I got so loud it was to close for comfort so I told her to close the door. I slept with my mom that night but I still heard screaming coming from my room. I heard the screaming twice right In my ear. Later I told my dad and he said a few years ago when I was 3 my sister said that there was a screaming lady living in our house. Recently I heard a story that had a screaming woman too.

My sister and I used to to always jump and laugh when the clown jumped out when we played with my sister’s “Jack in the box”. We even knew the song and we sung it even when we weren’t playing with the “Jack in the box”. My sister and I jumping and laughing when the clown jumped out at us is one of my best memories.
