Cable is my favorite character. I enjoyed knowing he would lead humans and mutants against Apocalypse in the future. The storyline in the 90s felt like Cable and Apocalypse would be the future Xavier and Magneto.

I was kind of hoping / thinking that Hope Summers would turn out to be a reborn Madelyne Pryor, so Madelyne couldn't give Nathan a childhood, but Nathan could give Madelyne a childhood she never had, since Madelyne was a clone that was rapidly aged and had false memories implanted. Apparently original Madelyne is back and off doing her own thing in the comics though
