Hey thanks. So, I teach free guitar lessons at the local library and I’m looking for some recommendations. My students (10-14) have asked to learn a few songs, but most are not songs featuring a guitar and transposing world be too difficult for beginners to play. The parents have been helpful and told me what they like, so the kids are learning some Metallica and Papa Roach. The kids are reluctant to do finger exercises , but have found some success with the Enter Sandman intro. Does anyone have any recommendation for finger exercises that are catchy and recognizable riffs? I watched this video, and many others, but so far I’m not interested in any of these. I think I will use that last AC/DC one for strumming exercises though. THANKS! Seems easy enough.

Dabiznis TheCat maybe the classic blues riffs? I also teach a kid how to play acoustic guitar and I also think that acdc song is a good one but maybe the classic blues riffs will help your students (ps: sorry, English is not my first language)
