Tiny Toons Acme All Stars for the Sega was awesome! Basketball, soccer, and bowling, all with those crazy special moves and Tiny Toons characters. Loved that game as a kid! Thanks for stirring up some great memories :D

I loved TinyToons when I was younger! I used to play Buster Busts Loose religiously but could never beat the freakin' thing. I can't remember if that game was really any good or not, though. That just drug up so many good childhood memories. Great video, it was absolutely hilarious. Just subscribed.

Best thing in Blades of Steel was putting all but two of the opposing players in the penalty box by beating them at fisticuffs. Another game I remember fondly was Nintendo World Cup, mainly for the special moves that could knock out other players. Seeing the field littered with the face-down unconscious forms of your opponents like the aftermath of a battlefield, complete with their feet sticking in the air.

God I loved Mega Man Soccer when I was a kid. Played it with a friend endlessly. Also, on the...Genesis I think...there was an actual Tiny Toons sports game, where you could pick a whole team and play Soccer and Basketball, some other things too I think. Loads of characters and special abilities. Was a ton of fun.

solar gaming It's a 2010 game made by Square Enix for Wii, with four kind of sports in the package: Volleyball, Basketball, Dodgeball and Hockey! It's kind of a successor of Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for the Nintendo DS (also by Square Enix); In Mario Sports Mix, there's even Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters as playable guests. =) and the game has the whole atmosphere of craziness of what a Mario sports game must have and more. XD

The only sport games I like are Oddball, Grifball, Ricochet, and custom sport-themed gametypes in Halo, Bombing Run in Unreal Tournament 2004, and probably the various Mario spin-offs based off sports.

I would say NBA Street 2 should be on the list, and Tony Hawk 3 revolutionized the series by being even better than 2 and gave the revert which allowed billion point combos. My brother and I used to play each other for hours with split screen combo attack on THPS3, just because of the simple revert. Also the sound quality was tripled so the music was amazing, and the levels had the best design in the series.

I personally love mutant league football/hockey. you play as zombies and lizard people and skeletons and there are land mines on the field and you can fall into black holes. you can also murder each other/the ref and the characters explode. Its fantastic. Now there's a game that needs a modern day remake.

Loony toons b-ball is the best game on that list! also, the faces get sad as the turbo meter, lastly, try this the next time you play, pause the game just before someone lands a dunk, and rewind the clock with the d-pad. (id make that someone the computer) and enjoy what i've coined, the invisible ball trick.

#1 Sports game for non-athletes = DanceDanceRevolution. It is recognized as a sport "Machine Dancing" in some countries and non-athlete gamers are the core target although a couple of athletes play as well.
