If we are taking competitively, aero isn't the best. It's stats and mega are strong, but it's movepool has much to be desired. Rhyperior > rhydon, golem is good, same with mega aggron and mega tyranitar. Gigalith is just pure trash, same with tyrantrum, and lycanroc is great

Aggron is weak to 2 common types being fighting and ground. And, it's 4 time weak against it. Watch False Swipe Gaming's video "How good was Aggron actually" to see why Aggron hasn't been a good competitive Pokémon

Normal Aggron is not good. he has so many weaknesses. And does not have recovery. He is outclassed by other defensive Steel types like Skarmory, Corviknight and Ferrothorn. Offensively it is outclassed by Lycanroc and Terrakion. They are much faster and hit harder.

Alper Keskin I just looked up aggron and it says he only has three weaknesses 2 are 4x and 1 is 2x while rhyperior has two 4x and 4 that are 2x while only resisting 5 other types while aggron resists 8 other types and is immune to poison while rhyperior is immune to electric. But other then that stat wise I see why rhyperior is better since if rhyperior has solid rock he drops his weaknesses from 4x to 3x and the 2x drops as well.
