Hvala! Loved it! Made me want to return. We've been there twice to see my Slovenian cousins. You need to go back though, you missed a lot!!!! Lipica; home of the Lippizaner horses, Piran; on the Adriatic coast, the disappearing lake, Triglav National Park, train ride along the Soca River and so so much more!

Postojna Cave and the castle look absolutely amazing. A castle with sneaky caves is what every castle should have. Slovenia was on my list already, but after watching this it's moved even higher up the list.

Great video! I was 10 months in Slovenia as an exchange student, and this brought so good memories to me. Downhill skiing was nice in Slovenia, and I went to a wine festival in Kranj with a friend of mine. The funny thing: it was held in the catacombs. If you are going to Ljubljana still, you should go to this place called Skeleton Bar and order a Wicky wacky woohoohoo (I might have misspelled it).

I've never been, myself, but I hear that the northern Balkans are some of the most picturesque parts of Europe. I hope that more world travelers--rather than just Europeans, who already know of this region's charms and give it props in vlogs and blogs--take an interest and help the re-emerging economies there. To be honest, what I want to learn about most right now is how to approach and work with tourist boards or otherwise find sponsorship for trips. I went to WTM in London in November and was invited to send proposals by two companies, which I did, and neither of them have replied. Does your course cover things in this area, and is there any kind of personal coaching/feedback available on proposals and content?
