Resto served 2 and a half years of his three year prison sentence, while Lewis was sentenced to six years in jail, but also only served 2 and a half years.

They missed the real story of the Magarito fight. The fight before the Mosley, Magarito battered the great Miguel Cotto. Cotto face was broken in 5 places. After the Magarito news got out, everyone watched the Cotto/Magarito fight and it seemed obvious something was off after Magarito suspension was up, Cotto and Magarito fought again and Cotto got sweet revenge by beating Magaritos ass in the ring.

That's frustration from being held with Evander Holyfield and with his reach vs "Iron" Mike and Accidental head butts with Stamina/Great conditioning plus a Jaw/Nose/Brow that seems like you'd be better off hitting below the belt or just not get into the ring in the first place, I admit that Holyfield was a cheater to but at least he did it in a classier more sophisticated way without losing anything but conscientiousness, thinking, and I must admit most importantly feelings. I am sorry not to hear the word "ring* or *boxing* in fights anymore. My father actually taught his little girl (me) to watch boxing from a very young age and we always kept in touch, even about title fights. (I couldn't wait to tell him that I shook the hand of Muhammed Ali!) I learned at his knee when boxing had 15 rounds of 5 minutes each (yeah, that was *brutal* fighting back then) We were okay with losing 3 minutes and 3 rounds because it opened up the sport to more hopefuls. But I really miss hearing about fights "in the ring." The hexagon of the UFC has turned the sport into carefully managed bar brawls. I realize that "it may be the future" of the sport, but the "old" sport had been around for thousands of years outside the ring and over a hundred years inside it. I lost him at 90 years old to Covid, and this was the second year without him. God help us if they put hockey players inside cocoons or bubbles!
