To everyone who is complaining about these tips not making sense for new players I would say this. Continue watching new player guides, play your character and re-visit this video from time to time. More and more of it will make sense. Just don't expect someone to hand you all the info...go out and research for yourself and discover all this game has to offer...there is something for just about everyone. This is a great guide and I really appreciate Dottz posting it.

I'll be honest. Just downloaded the game today. Maybe only 2 of the tips in this video made sense to me. I have not made it far enough to encounter anything else that was mentioned so it was kinda hard to understand any of it.

There are other tip videos in the description that may have some more relevance to you - I could have easily farmed the same tips year after year, but, id rather give people new information than just make the same video over and over

Man it has been awhile... black desert online... i sank an entire week of my life the first time i played it, then life happened, buuuut I'm down been looking for a fresh old new mmo with good combat and i really did enjoy the combat, ut was deserving of my soul for a week so, yeah see you in seasons everyone! Glad to see them fueling the time tested MMORPG's!!!!!

Do you guys ever read the comments? I seriously doubt it. FIRST THING a NEW PLAYER should do is after selecting the character and having entered the game is ACTUALLY CLICK on ALL the ICONS in the window to get an idea of what is what AND also hit every key on their keyboard to see what it brings up or does. Sounds like a pain, but forewarned is forearmed. Second tip: When you get your free mount, put it in the stable and let it stay there until you hit Level 30 for breath, and stamina by running from spot to spot. Oh, they would have seen this on hitting "P" as advised above. Third Thing: DO the Main quest line all the way to O'Dylitta esp in seasonal as this will help in more ways than you advise: Storage space, Inventory Slots, PETS, Knowledge etc. BTW, the hint about gaining knowledge... was unaware you could switch from reading alt to main and NOT lose knowledge gain. TY.

U just need a seasonal guide video, it gets better quick. Sounds like u need to enhance your gear with black spirit. Things will die a lot quicker. Once u get through u first character the rest will be 10x easier

im Lv.31 the only enemy that gave me alittle struggle was the odin look-a-like boss! (2nd phase) and for the enemies now, they just stand there! they only attack when i do! easy XP farming. and for gear... last i had was gloves and that was before the odin look-a-like boss! they are really slow with it imo. Still in my starters gear but i like it because its like im an elf from kokiri forest (Zelda OoT) lol

Considering you can get into node wars with season gear, yes, it is a solid piece of advice. I still consider someone "new" right after seasons. I have tons of other tip videos with grass roots tips, and even mention so in this video

You forgot the best tip: Never play the game. It is classic, Korean grindy garbage. Pretty graphics, but literally NOTHING else. Oh, well, I guess if you are moron and like to waste mommy & daddy's money in a P2W cash shop, sure, go ahead and play it.

My poor kid , may for Ppls like you who spend thier life in Fortnite , and other shitty easy progress games ; this game will be only grindy garbage , but for ppls who Start thier game's stroy with Old grind game's this game will be fun and make a lot happy moments . If you cant earn your gear fast dont say game was shitty cuse u try to Sprint over Marathon and u land at last place.
