I really hope some of this stuff gets implemented. I went through school in the UK in the 1980s, and it was ILLEGAL for the teachers to even acknowledge gay people existed. I doubt they even knew about the broader LGBTQ+ community. When I was at school, being any form of Q meant that you were on your own. No support, advice, or acceptance. And this was during the AIDS crisis, when we needed info more than ever! So I really, REALLY hope education finally catches up. Excellent work, Professor Pride! ❤❤🏳‍🌈🏳‍🌈🏳‍⚧🏳‍⚧👏👏

It's good to show that we should acknowledge the lgbtq community however like eveything else there comes conditions. We can't have children and sexuality be in the same sentence.

I'm sorry but you need to think twice before listing all of these things or even posting things like this. People have talked about deformation of kids' minds from LGBTQ+ teachers because they teach them inappropriate stuff in class, So That's why things like this is now restricted in some countries. Your point that being called gay to one does not interest to be gay is 100% valid, But saying that you are allowed to be gay even when your parents aren't sounds kinda unfair. I mean, What if the parents are christians and they choose to follow God's Word and not LGBTQ+ & the likes? Just saying these incase you get too absent with what you're telling people.

Children should have the right to be themselves no matter what the parent feels their religion is. The child has legal rights and protections too - one of which being freedom of speech and religion from anyone, including their parents. Secondly, it's not a sin to be gay in any major religion of the world (we covered this in a previous episode) so those parents would be pushing a false belief on their child. Most times, this pushing leads to conversion therapy, the practice of trying to change someone's sexual orientation or gender identity by force - often times by church leaders performing shock therapy, forcing them to have sex with opposite gendered people, lobotomies still happen in the USA, and if all else fails, showing these kids how to commit suicide because they would rather these kids dead than gay. We did an undercover documentary on all of this on our channel where we interviewed survivors who told us that all still happens in the US. But that's what you're risking if you let any parent choose the freedoms for their children rather than letting the child be a child. Yes, parents could choose to let their kids play with guns but the government says that's too dangerous. Parents could let their kids jump in front of a train and kill themselves like my mother did to me but the government says that's child abuse. So the government already tells kids that parents don't always know best so this is no different. Pushing a kid to not be LGBTQ is child abuse, pure and simple.

I am disabled adult. And my service coordinator tried get me to be cis. Think I am confusing by being trans. And not ask the cis clients they confused they are cis. And they really trans. And another reason she do it. She never know that I was for years. And think I have come out when I was young. Reason I did not most part. Because my mother. And some time after my mother died on May 4th,2010. I start open myself to my true self. And I bing AI it up. And bing AI chat said. There is no set age to come out. And months ago. I see other disabled people go over my wish with bing AI. It it said no. And she siad for used my preferred name. It should be my legal name. If I change my legal name to my prefreed name. It no longer be my prefreed name. Because it only way make them to used it. Sane with prefreed pronoun. Even I not got all thing to become a women. And there is a lot more. I think I took a lot of your time.

This is downright wrong! Why would you teach this kind of content to a kid!? Children don't need to learn anything pertaining LGBTQ+ content. They should instead be learning about: Science, History, Health, Nutrition, Arts, Sports... there's way too many interesting subjects to be taught in school that will actually help them navigate through life, than focusing on 'educating' children about LGBTQ+ content. How is this going to serve them in real life anyway?
