Grimlock was VERY intelligent. He merely had a speech impediment. Wheeljack tried to fix it, but Grimlock understood the idea of people thinking of him as stupid only to be surprised by how strong AND smart he really was. He even lead the Autobots while Optimus wasn't around.

***** It didn't matter which version. Even before the war, Grimlock was a part of Optimus's and Sentinel Prime's circle of trusted bots. And 95% of all the history of Grimlock showed that he still had his speech impediment. It was part of who he was. Comics, Cartoons, Toys, doesn't matter. it was Grimlock's way of speaking. As I said earlier, Wheeljack offer to fix his voice, but he told him no. When it comes to the Bayformers, I won't even go there because Bay screwed everything up starting with the first movie, so Bay can go suck it.

Bay screwed up Transformers as bad as Dragon Ball Evolution destroyed people's hopes for a GOOD Dragon Ball Movie. Yeah, I went there.

Prime and Jazz were great, but I always loved Prowl and Bluestreak the most, who were kind of polar opposites personality-wise. Have to respect Prowl's dedication to reason and logic. Bluestreak seemingly battled depression and PTSD by fronting with a wise-cracking, joker-type persona. The feels, man.

Just after Brawn’s warning the Deceptions were infiltrated and after he was shot down, you see Prowl and Ironhide turn around from their pilot’s seats and get blasted in the front by several shots from the Decepticons.

Michael Adams Only in the movie. Otherwise, he was owning soundwave, shooting megatron with his own cannon, and taking out thundercracker, skywarp and shockwave by himself. And when he did get shot, he got right back up as to show the character's toughness. Next to Optimus, Brawn was physically the strongest autobot.

Usually these are close but this one seems way off to me: 1) Optimus Prime 2) Metroplex/Fortress Maximus 3) Grimlock 4) Omega Supreme 5) Hotrod/Rodimus Maximus 6) Ultra Magnus 7) Alpha Trion 8) Bumblebee 9) Arcee No ten because of the tie for second place. I was born in '95, so I grew up on the Transformers series that came out in the early-mid 2000's, being Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. Armada is my #1 favorite series of all time, Cybertron my second, and Energon was my least favorite. As a Transformers fan in general, I've come to respect and also enjoy the original series very much. It was weird seeing Wheeljack on here, knowing he was a traitor in Armada lol. It was also weird not seeing iconic Autobots that I grew up with like Hotshot and Red Alert being on this list.

I don't think Metroplex wasn't the smartest. He was far from it I think, though smarter than the Dinobots. The smartest of all the Autobots and arguably all the Transformers were the Technobots' combined form Computron. Not very fast in battle however cuz he was always computin, but he made up for it with his strength, firepower, and considerable armor.

Check your facts bro. Metroplex may be the biggest Autobot on Earth but the biggest one is Fortress Maximus. He was so big his head consisted of two other Autobots and the vehicles that serviced him combined to become a robot as well

Back in the day my favourite Autobot was Brawn he was one of the small Autobots who had a real anger issue I guess? insignificant to the bigger bots but they would never say that to his face!!!, also smaller then the average bot... But what he lacked in size he made up for in strength 2nd only to optimus out of all the Autobots, even the big ones!!! , his fiery attitude, his compassion for his fellow comrades and human friends, and lastly his undying hatred of Decepticons... which back in the day he was the only small bot that I seen that could rip Starscream to bits... in the old cartoons that is... And bumblebee couldn't do that... hahaha
