I don’t mind the bezels on the screens but this gap between both displays should be significantly smaller and less shiny and distracting in version 2.0 But even then it will only bevy niche product and have it‘s fans.

This is by far the best usability demo I have seen for the Duo. It also best capture the potential of the device. I wished I had seen this video before I returned my Duo, I may have been more willing to put up with all the software issues until addressed by a future update...

Thanks for the kind words! And you could always wait until the software updates are released, then get it again on a discount sometime later. Either that, or look into getting the Fold 2. I just got mine and I'll be doing a comparison between the Duo and Fold 2 soon. Both are incredible devices, but aimed at very different markets.

Ok, I don't even know how to begin but first of, thanks for making this video. The dedication and the delivery are just on point. You made it easy for everyone to follow. I don't even know why Microsoft didn't use these features for its promos. Maybe they need to hire you! This is what an objective review of a device should be. It hurts when people just take a device, hardly explore what it can do, and just copy everything else they have heard another shallow reviewer say and put it out there for people to watch. This is what it means to really use a device. And let me guess, you were not sent a press kit for review right? I just subbed. Can't wait for my Duo to arrive. Dude, this is the best vlog for MS Duo 2, by far! We bought the phone thinking we might return it, however, post your video, we're just in love with it. Kudos to you , such an amazing job, other youtubers did not know much of the features you explained!! I do have a follow up query for you though, Is there a way to have widgets to appear on both screens when the phone is opened. If there's a way that I could see my weather, news updates on the left screen & have other widgets like Google email & calendar show on the right screen....would be a great deal if you could share recommendations! Question on multiple app iterations: does it work for the app "files"? Can I have two windows open: one on the left where I cut a file, and one on the right where I paste it. Please help! I really love my DUO! When I fold my DUO to talk on the phone... After less than a minute.. The phone app closes and disconnects. Is there something I am missing in the settings? It only happens when I hold it phone mode.. When I have it opened using the speaker.. It's fine. It just disconnects in "phone mode" Please tell me what the obvious fix that I'm overlooking is.?

Just got my duo today after weeks of watching reviews on Samsung fold and Note also Razr. I am so glad I went with duo the multi-tasking with dual screens is just awesome. I went to my cell store and the fold screen is to bulky and screen feels like plastic. I also was looking at Razr but was not sold the way Microsoft has designed th duo is the future of folding devices maybe they can incorporate a sliding device or flex glass in between the 2 screens. There was reviews on camera and to be honest camera works great and the speaker is fine. Most of the time I hook up to blootooth speaker for better audio. I would suggest to anyone to get this device hold off on the Fold and Razr.

I wish they would allow for the keyboard to be angled to a 45, (with the text also angled) so you could hold the phone by the corner...like you were holding a triange...and input quickly without having to fold the duo.

Does anyone know the settings for this: I can't get Floating Apps to open across both windows. I can't get the Floating Icon to unpin from the Right side of the Right window and just float wherever I want to sit it. I used to have it like this on Surface Duo 1, not on Surface Duo 2. 6:40 you can use "scrcpy" to do this with any phone but you need to connect it via usb I could not get "your phone" on windows to do this with my s7 edge

Yes. Amazon sells several pens that work. I purchased the Renaisser pen for $27 and it works perfectly. It has a built in magnet too. The pen even came with several spare tips.

Yep, it mirrors your phone's screen so you can still interact with your phone directly and your computer will just show what's happening on your phone. But just to be clear, you do have to take the notes in the OneNote app on your phone, not your computer. In other words, you can't use the Duo like a Wacom tablet for your Windows 10 computer. I hope that helps!
