A little twist in ‘the night eats the world’ I liked was the fact that as the zombies were running around attacking people, they were also screaming for someone to kill them because even though they were conscious of what they were doing, they couldn’t help it or stop themselves.
@bestmovies-wg1rq14 күн бұрын
To prawda! W The Night Eats the World ten element, w którym zombie są świadome swoich działań, dodaje ciekawy i emocjonalny wymiar do fabuły. To przerażające, że nie mogą się powstrzymać, mimo że zdają sobie sprawę z tego, co robią. To z pewnością wyróżnia ten film w gatunku zombie. Jakie inne filmy mają podobne ciekawe podejścia do tematu?

Great list. I've seen other videos about the same topic and they mainly list the same videos, which gets boring after a while. I definitely recognise some names from the list, but can't wait to give the others a try, given I'm a huge zombie lover and appreciate any zombie project, even on a low budget.

At the 5:37 mark, one of the main characters in STATE OF EMERGENCY (2011) is played by Jay Hayden. I recognized him from being in the first season of SEAL TEAM (2017). He played Clay's friend, Brian who died when his parachute failed to open in training.
@bestmovies-wg1rq2 ай бұрын
Nice catch! Jay Hayden is definitely a versatile actor. It's cool to see him in different roles, like in "State of Emergency" (2011) and as Brian in the first season of "SEAL Team" (2017). That scene in SEAL Team where his parachute doesn't open was intense and memorable. It's always interesting to recognize actors from other shows and see how they bring different characters to life. Thanks for sharing that connection!

I've seen only 4 of these so it's a good list. Thanks for including the IMDb rating. A few extra facts. Exit Humanity takes place during the American Civil War Era. What We Become is Danish, not Norwegian. Night Eats the World is French. Another decent French zombie film is Le Periple (The Trip). It's so French that the first thing the villagers do is break out the good wine and cognac. It's great in the village but the second half is weaker.. If you liked Overlord, it was based on a Lithuanian zombie movie titled War of the Dead.
@bestmovies-wg1rq11 күн бұрын
Thanks for the valuable insights! I’m glad you liked the list! Indeed, Exit Humanity is set during the Civil War, and What We Become is a Danish film, while Night Eats the World is a French production. I love that in Le Periple, wine and cognac are the villagers' first reactions-that definitely adds character! It’s interesting that Overlord was based on the Lithuanian film War of the Dead. The End can be a bit tricky to find depending on your location. It's often available on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video or Vudu for rent or purchase. You can also check if it's available on KZbin Movies. Sometimes, it's included in specific streaming services like Shudder, depending on the region. If you have trouble finding it, a VPN might help you access it from another country's library.
