I really love videos like this. A lot of people still think that masterpieces come together in a frenzy without thought or consideration, like you just sit down and paint. These always show how much deliberate action a painting takes and that art IS in fact WORK.
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber Жыл бұрын
Sadly that's true. It would be nice if masterpieces just appear, perhaps for some artists they do!
@LCLand7 ай бұрын
@@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebberI mean, I consider it a masterpiece if I frame it and hang it on our wall. 😅 And they do sometimes just come together. It’s often something that didn’t turn out so I play with it for fun and sudden,y I’m like I love it. I’m framing it. Im practicing planning more but my drawing foundation is weak as is my planning. So I’ve been watching your videos a lot lately. Practicing this aspect of art and watercolor. I wonder if educated artists like you would find more masterpieces with less planning. And people like me, hobby artists need to practice planning and foundational techniques more. 🤷🏻♀️

I was so grateful today for Michele's cheery tutorials. I was awakened very early by the level 9 storm that hit the Cape here in South Africa on Sunday night. The power was out until 8am. We were house bound today as a result of the bad weather but fortunately Michelle kept me enthralled with her videos and got me through the day. I learnt heaps. Many thanks ❤

Hi, I recently found out about your channel and I'm obssesd with your way of teaching, you teach better than any art teacher on KZbin and have helped me make my art a lot better, especially your video about how to do gridding which you probably did about a year ago, that video got me introduced to you and helped in many ways, I cant explain my happiness when I found a channel this good. Also sorry if my English sucks I'm from India.

Thanks so much! So many helpful tips. And I never knew which colors tended to bleed and to take that into consideration when deciding when to paint a background. Thanks again.

Thank you Michelle for answering the question of when to start the background and when to do the subject first. I was wondering about that after watching a couple of your videos. Second question. What color will you be using for the starfish? The background has those 2 strong primary colors and lots of texture. I would struggle to make it stand out against the business that's already there.
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber Жыл бұрын
It was planned to be quite pale, but darkness can be increased at edges where the background is light. To be honest they were only started for background tutorials and I am unlikely to finish, you never know though, I am tempted to do the rose!

Michele, how do I upgrade my channel membership?
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber Жыл бұрын
Hi Vivian, I found these instructions: Go to the channel homepage of the membership that you want to change and click See perks. Select the level that you want to join Change level. Select Upgrade. You'll immediately get access to the upgraded level upon purchase. ... Your monthly billing date will not change due to a level upgrade. If that doesn't work google how to upgrade youtube channel membership, adding the device you are on to the search bar: iphone, android or pc and you should find instructions.
@vivianbooth0105 Жыл бұрын
Thank you but I did go through all the steps again but when I click “see perks” the only option I have is to cancel my membership. I’m on an IPad if that makes a difference!
@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber Жыл бұрын
@@vivianbooth0105 probably. Apple sometimes just does things differently. But if you want to upgrade I would just cancel and then re join, although I guess you lose a few dollars that way... Or try a different device. Sorry, I have literally no control over the payment process.
