Problem is, there are some "rappers" who actually sing more than they rap. This is seen more in recent Latin Pop with people like Farruko and Ozuna who are very much about the image and the production yet their voices are very meh and constantly use auto tune. However Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne actually do rap, so insinuating they are talentless because of their singing and guitar playing is ridiculous, but Minaj also wants to be a popstar so...

I completely agree, if you’ve heard her most recent album ‘Norman F***ing Rockwell’, there is proof she can sing, she sounds fantastic, especially in the song ‘The Greatest’. She does not deserve this placement. In live performances, she doesn’t sound bad she just gets very nervous, but in small venues she’s fantastic. You could say the same for Adele, she gets extremely nervous, yes she can still pull it off but she sounds absolutely amazing in smaller shows, compared to big arena concerts.
