@@P.Paramo That's user error. 1. You can get notifications when the screen is off in Android. You can choose to show everything, hide the "sensitive" messages and show the alerts, or not show them at all. 2. You don't buy an Android phone to get an Iphone, dingus. What exactly did you "need" to work like an Iphone that wasn't in Android? 3. Of course you're going to have a worse experience trying to make an Android phone work exactly like an Iphone than having an Iphone work like an Iphone. That being said, Android at least allows you to customize your experience to that. Apple wants everyone to have the same bland, mindless experience and won't let you use your device the way you want to unless it happens to coincide with how Apple thinks it should work. 4. Unless it's a security patch, it's best not to upgrade any program. Seriously, updates cause as many problems as they fix. Android isn't an exception, either. The worst update, IMO, was when Android removed the menu soft button in Android 10 (IIRC). It totally neutered a lot of older apps that assumed your device had some sort of menu button (which was very normal for several years). The only way to access that was to use an external keyboard or controller that had a menu button... or download an app that required way too many permissions just to add an ugly menu button overlay.
