It's not that simple. The toy deal was pulled. The toy deal was the life blood of the show. Shows like this either need to sell merchandise like crazy, or get a crazy amount of views. It got a decent amount of views, so it relied on the toy deal to fund it. Not many people bought the merchandise. No money, no show. Tv is still a business.

Young Justice was an expensive show that wasn't making as much money as was being put into it. TTG is relatively cheaper to produce. It's made in Adobe Flash, has the same principle cast, and episodes are 11 minutes long without commercials. Apples and oranges

***** It doesn't have to be like that though, perhaps DC can establish an online streaming service kind of like Netflix where you can watch whatever is DC (And Vertigo related). Access to all the movies and shows ever made related to DC, eventually they can get their own shows running only on that service (Like a new season of Young Justice Or a new season of Constantine). Shows used to be about getting ratings (at least for CN, Nick or Disney) Now as long they sell toys they will continue to make shows and force writers to make new characters just so they can make more toys out of said characters. Ask any fan of Adventure Time (I am not one just to clarify) and they will tell you that show has been on a decline, but that show has so much merchandise now, that ratings practically don't matter any more.

You guys are overestimating how much pull a a DC exclusive streaming service would have. Netflix works because of the vast amount of variety titles it has AND because of the time it started. While fans would likely get it, it wouldn't get nearly enough numbers to fund an entire series like YJ. Especially in this post streaming boom world we live in, where people can skip watching Vixen on CW Seed, where it was suppose to be exclusive, and just watch it on KZbin or any other site that streams cartoons. As fans, these sound like good ideas, but business wise, Young Justice's best shot is being on TV. And there's no money to put it on tv,, because the toy deal was how the show got life in the first place.

My favorite episode was "Downtime" because it really showed them not fighting a battle just doing what they do after the battle is over. Granted, Aqualad does fight a battle, but it isn't about the battle. It shows their relationship between other heroes that we often don't get to see just being adults and taking care of the kids. There is a really great scene where Batman takes time off of his patrol, which he was probably about to go on because he was dressed as Batman, to go play one on one basketball with Robin because he unintentionally hurt Robin's feelings earlier in the day when he wanted to only talk to Aqualad alone. There is another great scene with Aqualad and Aquaman talking to each other and really shows how Aqualad respects Aquaman and then chooses in the end to stay with the team.

8:25 This episode was a freaking roller coaster for my feelings, after Artemis "dies", and then all the plot twists, and then Kaldur "dies" the episode before, I'm ashamed to admit it, but well, I wasn't sad when Wally died, there I said it! I was just so shocked, and then I was like "Oh, they'll figure it out, get Wally back, etc. but then I looked and saw that I had two minutes of the episode left, and then the horrible realization hit me that, the show was canceled. I cried for days. I still REFUSE to believe that he's dead, I don't care what you say! I'm so whelmed.............

Fundraising wouldn't exactly help the situation. The toy deal was the entire life blood of the show, the best way to help would be to buy the merch. Not enough people did. There was the sound track, DVDs, the toys, the video game (albeit poor video game). That was the best way to help a show that was declared dead pretty early, before it even ended.

The reason why this was cancelled was because of low sales in merchandise. But the show was watched by teenagers mostly, and back then teens didn't but so much superhero merch or they would be viewed as geeks. Now DC and WB would be making so much cash. +Kieran Ben Clarke canceling TTG would be a extremly stupid move since: 1- despite all the hatres, TTG has a good fanbase who legetemly likes the show 2- TTG makes a lot of money, since it apeals to the rigth demographic to sell merchandise (in other words, litle kids like toys) 3 They are curently making a live action TT show, with two TT shows airing at the same time, the name "Teen Titans" is going to have more recognition, that means they may make more comic book runs, more seasons of the original show and maybe a live action movie

The countdown itself was good, but there are 2 main problems: 1) YOU SPOILED EVERYTHING: whether or not you or the clips did, you spoiled each episode by revealing every little detail, including the large plot twist of season 2, instead of giving a small synopsis of the episode and praising it. 2) The Proverbial Middle Finger: You acknowledge the fact that there are Young Justice fans who really enjoyed the series and want more, but still refuse to give us a Season 3 and continue to shovel Teen Titans Go! down our collective gullets to keep us satiated, when it doesn't! Young Justice had... HAS... a special magic to it that creates a unique alternate universe while keeping true to the characters and environments, not to mention bringing in obscure characters and subject matter episode after episode and giving them time in the limelight. (Red Tornado, Zatarra, Doctor Fate, Shazam, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Icicle Jr., Amazo, Blue Beetle, Queen Bee, The Reach, Longshadow, Static, CADMUS, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, Speedy/Red Arrow/Roy Harper/Arsenal, Lagoon Boy, Black Manta, Sportsmaster, Cheshire, Devastation, Professor Ivo, Gotham Academy, etc.) It feels like a slap in the face that you can make episodes about Teen Titans eating burritos and burgers, but can't bring back a developed series with an intriguing and interesting world. The episode of Teen Titans Go where The Team appeared pointed it out perfectly. And while that episode parodies the idea of being TOO serious and over-gloomy, Young Justice knew exactly when to be goofy and lighthearted, and when to be truly depressing and suspenseful. It was a wonderful series and it is a major disappointment that I'll never watch any more of it.

FranticShooting I can accept some minor spoilers about what happens in some episodes, but flat-out saying stuff like "after aqualad's reveal as a double agent" just pretty much ruined one of the biggest twists in the entire series, regardless of seasons. And revealing the ending of Cold-Hearted is like spoiling a long-awaited movie before it even comes out, it was such a powerful episode and people wanting to know what episodes they should watch had that experience ruined for them. Do you see what I'm getting at here?

8:55 I freaking lost it when Artemis died, I was in shock and didn't really react, other then probably screaming, I'm not sure. That would be the dumbest decision they could make since TTG apeals to the rigth demographic (kids) so it sells a lot of merchandise (toys), TTG won´t be canceled any time soon expecialy now that they´re going to make a live action TV series caled Titans, its the best for evryone if TTG continues: DC and CN will continue making a lot of money TTG fanbase will continue enjoing theyr show TTG haters have the option to don´t watch the show TT fans in general have higher chances of geting more comic book runs, another season of the original show and who knows maybe a live action movie

The relationship (non-romantic) between Artemis and Bart now that he's Kid Flash Flash and Bart's relationship since Bart's his new protege Any backlash Aqualad and Tigress receive from the Light for tricking them (I did say in an earlier comment that I would like a season three with lighter story/plot tones, but unfortunately, I'm also logical and know it would probably only get darker as the series went on :P ) Expanding on Jamie and Scarab's new "friendly, brotherly" relationship How Static grows as a hero, and seeing his powers mature and how he's trained to use them. Another Teenage Boy TEAM UP: Kid Flash II, Blue Beetle, Static, Robin, Beast Boy, Lagann. (might be too much for a team but heck, interaction between Bart and Static would be pretty cool to see) (Even though Greg said Wally is DEAD, I'm saying he's either, time traveled or transported to another dimension and is doing what he can to get back.) My favourite episode is The Hunt. It showcases the skills of the developing young heroes rescued from the Reach, the manipulations of Lex Luger, the tenacity of Arsenal and the dryly sarcastic interview between the Reach ambassador and G Gordon Godfrey. It also shows the sardonic confidence of the Black Beetle and a confrontation with the developing heroes, Arsenal and Mongul. Fantastic!!!!
