I fully support banning anyone who cheats, its ruining the game for people who actually want to enjoy the PR stunts and try for Top 1000. The Leaderboards are full of scumbags using cheats and exploits to get good scores and it's unfair on actual good players who don't cheat.

the last game i got number 1 in the world on a few events was ssx 2012 and i was literally a wizard at the game for tricking. now with all the exploits and speed glitches i cant do shit with this game. its literally every game now too people have no integrity anymore and don't care how they get to the top. the worst people though are the ones that compete for money and use very minor cheats to not get detected.

Maybe dont play the games then, just like real sports, people will use whatever they can if they need to, to be able to win. I mean look at deflategate, a quarterback needed his balls less inflated to get a competitive edge, while it makes it unfair for the other team, the other team is also probably doing atleat 1 thing that is considered cheating. Hence why typically nfl teams do not call eacht9her out and when they do its big news, it's how sports work, and esports, humans cheat, it's what we do

As someone who played the game 5 days before the official release, I was glad to see that the scores were realistic (for a game.) Then, after November 9th, the scoreboards were screwed up by those who were playing the game on PC. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm siding with what the new CoD is doing about banning those who cheat, sometimes for the rest of the series. If you have to ruin the leaderboards, then you are obviously overcompensating for something...

Top 1000 on the airport danger zone is impossible without cheating. I tried doing it myself but getting the Taycan up to millions of HP takes so long that I don't have the patience. Just did it with the Jesko instead

Another way to get faster is to keep your RPM higher throughout the turns and especially the exits. You were exiting some turns in 3rd or 4th when you should have been in 2nd or 3rd instead. Get into that RPM power-band sweet spot on the exit of turns and you'll melt a few tenths off of each.

Where you can improve is definitely corner exits: right now going into (and out of) corners a little too hot, which then means you have to hold back on exits to not hit walls and that's costing time, all the way until the next braking point. The lines themselves are perfectly fine.

One of my favorite things in Forza games is doing Rivals. I always strive for top 10 or top 50. This game has HUNDREDS or even THOUSANDS of these guys on some events. It's absolutely ridiculous.

That 20 seconds difference is a lot. Reminds me me and my friend playing FH4 .. me playing normally on high end pc, no problems, but often he got stucked in a road and shot off, giving him insane speed. Had similar problem with one car, dont remember now, never used him really, but no matter how i tuned it, the front wanted to go up, like fast and furious style, horse on back legs .. and when stopped and accelerating a lot, i could get similar effect .. managed to hit one speed trap with over 5000km/h before game couldnt take it and some memory started poping up and i stopped immediately .. but its there .. forever in leaderboard .. like on 2000th position :) Cheaters everywhere

4:29 The Jesko and various other cars have the potential brake glitch still available to them, you hit/pull the brakes and it drops the nose/front bumper of the car down.

The top Jesko may be suspect, but the cars that tilt in the air aren't glitched - they have active aero that adds down force to the front of the car. It isn't exactly realistic, but neither is jumping 1km.

The jump at the southern air strip as an example, should be easy to do one thousand feet with most normal/moderate sized and powered vehicles. If you rewind as necessary, you can somersault an Agera RS, or similar vehicle and get further.

I’m not sure if you are in automatic or manual, but he definitely is, and has near perfect shifting. You can tell if you watch from 16:30 , your shift sets you back and he pretty much zooms past you. He may be using a steering wheel with a clutch and shifter as well. But your driving is really good dude

Ran into my first cheater last night - Horizon Tour race where we were all in identical stock Aventadors, but one dude just yeeted out to a 10+ second gap by the time we got out of the first turn, and he finished a lap early all 3 races.

That sucks. I saw a cheater in a race for the first time a couple weeks ago in FH4. It was an A class cross country race in winter. Dude brought his X class Lambo and no, not a Urus either. He never finished a course. I think he spent a little too much time sliding past checkpoints, shoveling through snow banks and doggie paddling through streams! Fat tires FTW!

Anyone else experienced the thing where you’re miles ahead of the AI and suddenly your car has like half the power and struggles to even accelerate just for the AI to come flying back up to you right by the finish line? I had this happen to me on a community event with a GT2RS and suddenly the car couldn’t even get out of 4th gear at max speed of 120mph down a straight line on the final lap only to then win by 0.2s after a 33second lead

I'm new to this game, so this may be an old Horizon thing, but the check points seem very inconstant. Some times I'll be a meter or so outside and it will count, sometimes I drive over the flag and It doesn't. Also are you using a controller or wheel? your turns are very smooth, I'm playing on a PS4 controller for now and cant find the right steering linearity so it's responsive but not twitchy.

Imho, if you play Horizon with the intent to take things like leaderboards seriously, you're not gonna have a good time. If you want to take leaderboards seriously, that's what Motorsport is for. Horizon is kinda the fuck around n bullshit kinda of title where Motorsport is the more serious title. But that's just me thinking/speaking out loud about what others are thinking tho.

the jesko can put up those kind numbers on the runway jump if you have a good tune. mine can hit that jump at 295 -300mph.

So just a guess. In Event Lab Rules of Play you can control the engine torque between 0 and 200%. That probably makes it much easier to find the variable responsible for that in cheat engine where they can then set it to 1000% or whatever. Then I guess they can also use auto-steer and other assist to make their undriveable cars avoid the walls.

Fh5 so far has been really buggy when it comes to some of these events too. You can choose whether you want to believe this or not but for one of the danger signs I did I got given a distance on the leaderboard of 6500 ft for I don't know what reason even though it only felt like 2100, and what was weirder is that when I went to try and Recreate whatever I did to cause that I sometimes got prompted that I got a new PB even though it was no where close to what was on the leaderboard. I don't know if this has happened with anyone else but I will say that for as much as I wish they cleaned up the leaderboards a bit, I think the higher priority is basically just fix the game. I have a good feeling I got banned from my previous club because of that one danger sign jump that looks hella cheated because it was #1 in the world for a while

I honestly spent 50 mins my first day trying to beat average AI on a track…. Next day there’s an update. I’m driving again we highly skilled and I’m leaving them behind. Also I did 5 laps total not looking at ghosts on that rivals and I got 58.600 ish I’m within a tenth of that a bit slower but… jeezus I don’t enjoy using abs. I drive with it off. I honestly struggle when hitting the breaks on the dirt. I can’t tell if I’ve locked my wheels or not. Hood cam drivers issues. Anyway great lap. I never thought about going on the dirt to have a better line into start finish line. Pretty good line.

yeah the whole electric car thing is annoying i only did one speed trap with it on accident because i was just trying to hit a jump at like 450mph to see what happens. didn't realize i even hit a speed trap while doing it until after i hope they remove my time so i can go for legit ones

There is a bug for jumps where you fall through the map and it still counts. Happened to my mate when we were doing normal 3star runs

Made me laugh when you said you can't believe there's cheaters already. Reminded me of the horizon 1 demo...that had cheaters on it. People doing 300mph in an Evo 10 on the speed trap in it iirc.
