I had been considering getting it for the Wii since I hear that the motion controls are actually pretty immersive and it has some dynamic game mechanics that change based on your play style. I cried when I played Silent Hill 2, so to think that the story could be even close to as good as that is shocking. Isn’t it just a remake of the original? If it really is that good then I definitely need to play it.

Something nobody (as far as i can see) seem to have ever considered is that SH2 might actually be more closely related to Laura. Laura is just a little girl that shows up in SH2 and knew Mary when she was in the hospital... she does not see any monsters in Silent Hill because she has no evil with her. All nice and good... BUT -- how did she get to Silent Hill? Even if she does not see any monsters the town should be abandoned. The main theme of SH2 is called "theme or Laura". If you remember the one that made the town go haywire in SH1 was Alessa/Cheryl and it was mentioned in "monster lurk" (a book found in Silent Hill) that adolescent girls had a close tie to the paranormal forces. If we take this into account... perhaps Laura is actually the real lycnhpin that tie together Eddy, James, Mary and what's her name.
