The problem with the new CCNP's by Cisco are you have to take CCIE lab exam in certain limit of time (as once with CCIE written exam) as there is no written exam in CCIE security.

Hi The new CCIE Security certification does not have a written exam. Instead, candidates must pass a single, eight-hour lab exam. This can be a challenge for some candidates, as it is a lot of time to be focused on a single task. Hi Jay Armstrong Cisco has updated the content and versions and retired the old CCIE. Now you have new CCIE Certifications with updated content.
