@@josh6453 Okay first, it doesn't look like a chill friend either. Second, it's not just about its looks. It's about what he represents, and what kind of atmosphere its actions manage to make you feel. Here in this case, it's supposed to make you feel hopeless, as whatever you do, he'll be able to send his minions in the past in order to prevent it. Maybe you don't like his looks, but his lore make you feel like there's nothing you can do against him. Whatever you'll do, you'll never win. It's way more powerful than you are, and that's scary in a way.

About Master Hand ans Crazy Hand ? Have you never seen that "Ultimate Master Hand" form ? Basically in Smash 4, if you defeat one of the Hands in a high enough difficulty, Master Hand will turn into a black swarm that hides Ultimate Master Hand's core, which looks like a multicolored Smash Ball. But that swarm can take many forms. When you defeated one form, it takes another, forcing you to learn his different movesets and adapt. And the higher the difficulty his, the more forms it has. That fight is stressful, and I never managed to finish it in max difficulty with all of his forms. But yet it's such a great concept. It makes me think that Master Hand might never have been a hand. But his core, surrounded by the black swarm that take the form of a hand and a glove over it. Also a shame you don't know about Fossil Fighters because the three entries' final bosses (Guhnash for the first game, Zongazonga for the second one, and Dreadraven for the third one) are really good. And creepy.

BTW, Marx is even scarier in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (despite allegedly being watered down). Two of his moves involve turning his wings into veins and turning his eyes into compound eyes that shoot eyeball projectiles. And when you kill him, his scream is even worse than Marx Soul’s from Kirby Super Star Ultra.
