Buffy and Highlander: The Series are two of my favorite shows! Good call! Quantum Leap is another great show. I know it got revived, but I’d still like to see Scott Bakula come back as Dr. Sam Beckett in another revival.

I would love to see Highlander in a wide-screen format. I loved that show and have been re-watching it periodically. In the end, there can be only one. May it be Duncan MacCleod, the highlander.

The Outer Limits original first aired in 1963. It has been rebooted a couple of times, and heavily inspired later similar shows, such as Black Mirror. In my opinion, the original remains the best.

What about the show Seven Days? The show was about the NSA using a time machine they built using alien technology they salvaged from the Roswell crash to send an agent back in time seven days to undo terrorist events that already happened.

A few of those mentioned TV series has direct to video or streaming continuation some with closures: Highlander ended brilliantly on the movie Endgame wich some doesn´t like but I find it fitting to the series mood. Twin Peaks had a also brilliant run on Netflix with some surreal themes and the David Lynch way of telling a story, not for every spectator but brilliant to cinephiles. X-files had two other seasons but to be honest they left even more questions open than the ones they actually answer. Watchable but exptremely confusing.

No mention of Wilson in Home Improvement? I enjoyed the Kevin Sorbo Hercules series, but I don't know that a reboot would do much. What new ground could it cover? Fresh Prince of Bel Aire: Hated that show and Will Smith. No reboot Please! Buffy: Again not sure how much new ground a reboot could cover.

the outer limits was a reboot of the original series that started somewhere in the 1950's or 60's not the 80's which was also a reboot. you need to research a bit better to get your story right. also er was what got people back into being interested into medical dramas not kickstarted it off. there were a few dramas before er but er was the one that helped make it interesting though now the ones that last has other parts intergrated into the show like 911.

Most of these are pure trash. Kids and some adults may have enjoyed them for various reasons (usually because they like the concept), but he crazy low budgets and G rated scripts based on R rated movie plots or adult concepts are hard to swallow as an adult. Then there's a few shows in here that were HUGE successes at the time, so I don't know how they're "criminally underrated". Home Improvement and Fresh Prince were top sitcoms of their time, regardless or not you liked them. X-Files had the most sought after time slot and place on television - Prime Time on Sunday night after the Simpsons and ran for 11 seasons and a wide release movie.

@@DeidreL9 It's not an opinion. Just because you like a show doesn't mean it's not a piece of crap, it just means you like it in spite of it's flaws - everyone does at some point. A LOT of it has to do with how old you are when you first see a show or movie. The idea of taking an R rated movie that was entertaining for it's over the top violence, special effects and adult concepts and then turning it into a G rated prime time television show is laughable - it can't help but be garbage (though often children like it because they couldn't see the original).

I loved Outer Limits but it came on Sunday nights/Monday morning roughly 2-3 hrs before I have to go to work.Also didn't like that Highlander came on Saturday nights.I also like the 1st couple seasons of Renegade.
