Top 20 Alice In Chains Songs

Alice In Chains are, in my opinion, The Great band to emerge from the 90s. . Their songs were intricate, heavy & simply melodic. They are the soundtrack to my youth - being Canadian my bus ride to highschool could easily extend past 2 hours during the winter months if we got caught behind a snow plow traveling at a fraction of the speed limit. Plenty of time to ponder over their great lyrics and incredibly emotive music while sitting by myself, always with my headphones, looking to the wilderness. Alice In Chains gave me that first experience of listening to their words and thinking to myself "this was written for me". . A few songs that I believe everyone should have on rotation that weren't mentioned, in no particular order . . The One You Know God Am Frogs. All I Am Nutshell In terms of albums. . Obviously Dirt is most likely #1. Followed by my personal favorite Alice In Chains (1995) at #2 . . And Rainier Fog gets the Bronze at #3. . Not to disparage anyone - however. . Why Greta Van Fleet beat out Alice In Chains for the Grammy for best rock album is beyond me and twas the final straw in the credibility for the Grammys. A little off topic. . Lana Del Rey was also more than deserving for Album of the year at the Grammys with her 2023 Magnum Opus "DYKTTATUOB" Sweet A&W Are two songs that make for a great introduction to her world. . Very different from Alice In Chains. . Yet equally powerful & important.

Alice In Chains and Soundgarden are my two favorites from the 90s! Nutshell and As I Am were almost on the list!
