My brother and I used to watch "Tarzan" with our mum all the time, so "You'll be in my Heart" will be the perfect song for them at his upcoming wedding.

My cousin and aunt danced to that song a couple years ago. Brought total tears to my eyes seeing my cousin whom I grew up with along with his 3 younger brothers every summer (divorced parents) ever since we were little kids (I’m the oldest out of the “group”) now a grown man. Just thinking about it still makes me tear up.

7:46 I clicked on this video JUST to see if you were going to put this one. Around this time of the year a couple of years ago, my youngest cousin got married, and this exact song was the one that he and my aunt danced to. I can’t hear it without sobbing my eyes out to begin with, but to have a new emotional connection to it now, it just reduces me to a puddle of tears within the first few words.

I love this one because not only are these great choices, but I feel like no one really talks about mother-son dances as much as father-daughter dances when it comes to weddings. Although, I could just be biased since I've only ever attended 2 weddings, and those were when I was 6 and 11, and I'm 21 now.

17:49 My cousin got married a couple years ago and he and my aunt danced to this song. It brought HUGE tears to my eyes, seeing my cousin whom I grew up with every summer (divorced parents) ever since we were little kids now a grown man. Plus in a couple months, one of his younger brothers will also be tying the knot. Wonder if any of these songs will be played 🤷♀️

At both my sons’ weddings we danced to Sheryl Crowe’s Sweet Child of Mine. It was perfect because I listened to Sheryl’s music a lot when they were growing up. ❤

My mom and I danced to #5 at my wedding; my second choice was actually Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion, surprised that didn’t make the list

Honorable Mention: "Even When I'm Not" by Maren Morris. Since the movie it originated from ("The Wild Robot") is all about a mother/son relationship.

Because it was a huge movie in my son's life...our song was the Ghostbusters Theme. I just am not into the "sappy" songs. He had found a wonderful partner and I wanted to celebrate.

I guess most people’s moms are lame and sappy. My mom rules and is cool. So if I’m dumb enough to marry, we’ll swing dance to Smokey Robinson & The Miracles - “Shop Around”.
