You forgot honorable mentions. Bubba Wallace's fake hate crime of having a noose in his garage that was really a garage pull-down according to the FBI. Or LeBron James is fake hate crime, where somebody supposedly spray-painted the n-word on his house and then he wash it off before the police got there. And Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell should have been number one.

@@Kt-ss9nl Let me say this again, for those who either missed my point, or are deliberately ignoring it: I don't care about his intentions! And that's not how we judge other people when they do the wrong thing! If a man kills someone while driving drunk, he can flap his trap all he wants about how he didn't mean to kill anybody. He's still going to be prosecuted for vehicular homicide. Or if someone discharges a firearm accidentally while he's on drugs, and the bullet kills a child in an adjacent apartment, his excuses don't mean s**t. BTW you can be a fan of someone's music or acting or writing or whatever, and still disapprove of his or her actions. I _was_ a fan of MJ and still like his tunes. But he did a lot of questionable things. It doesn't mean I hate the man or think he was a terrible person or father. Sometimes good people do bad things. He did a bad thing there. And because he was who he was, he never had to answer for it.

Huffmans actions literally ruined someone’s else’s life plans. Someone was not admitted to their dream school because her daughter got a paid slot. Her sentence was shit. She should have had 500k in fines and 6 months in jail. There are people in prison for years for victimless crimes. It’s crap and she should be held accountable to the same degree that the average citizen would. It’s disgusting and I hope she develops bunions

I’m sure there are tons of celebs that cheat no idea why only a select few get called out for it at the end of the day what goes on in a relationship should only concern the people in said relationship cheating is bad but it’s not the end of the world. The Simpsons episode Stark Raving Dad was pulled just for having Michael Jackson's voice in it. Accusations when the pop star was alive didn't get it pulled, but a documentary that came after his death. Guess we better not see anything with Kevin Spacey on Disney Plus. If having Michael's voice in it "taints the entire episode" when he's not even playing Michael Jackson, then dubbing over with another's voice would solve "the problem"

Iirc they said the problem wasn't that MJ played the voice of a character in this episode. They said they believe that MJ used this episode for grooming purposes, that is to normalize adults befriending kids and also to make himself appear as a misunderstood weirdo, who could do no harm, which, at least according to the doc, was far from true. Now, it's debatable whether they did right to remove the episode or not, bc such matters aren't really simple and they touch a great deal of philosophical/sociological questions. I just wanted to point out their explanation for doing so, and to clarify that (at least according to their statements) they didn't do it simply bc MJ starred in it.
@vt2383
@vt2383 2 жыл бұрын
@@tg8689 I guess bc they weren't really sure if he did or not, but after the doc they believed the victims and realized his modus operandi and how he manipulated people into believing a certain image he created. Therefore they thought that this episode (to whose script MJ offered some ideas) was used by MJ to cultivate the innocent, misunderstood Peter-Pan image, that enabled him to come close to boys, groom them and sexually abuse them. Again I'm not saying I agree with what they did, I'm still uncertain about that tbh, but at least I want to clarify the reason why they did it, by avoiding misconceptions about their motives.

@@vt2383 How does someone use an episode to groom kids?
@vt2383

@@PeterGriffin11 They try to reinforce an image that furthers their cause. MJ (despite being uncredited for this episode) used the character in his show to normalize adults befriending children and also to show himself as a harmless weirdo that no one understands him. Even though people were unsure if MJ did the voice acting, the result was to some extent the image mentioned above to be established and thus some parents (usually fans) to be more willing to trust Michael and let him be close to their kids.
