1:22 That startup occurs only when you have a disc inside and an autorun option turned on. Without the game there's just the Sony text then it comes into the system. Then after you start the game, it shows the PSP logo, when the game is original / console is not hacked. 4:53 You get that title screen only when you have Famicom Disk System plugged in, NES/Famicom didn't have any startups screen by themselves. 5:30 You only showed the European version, NTSC regions had a different logo and music, also Japan only V-Saturn And Hi-Saturn (made by JVC and Hitachi) had different logos, but left the NTSC music. 8:34 You forgot about Nintendo DSi - it has the same startup, but there's an extra chime when (i) appears. 11:33 It's not a console startup screen - SEGA logo is built into the games! In other games you have other startups. Genesis didn't have any startup screen itself. Sega Master System had a startup screen - Japanese version had a whole kicking ass song playing without a cartridge. Sega CD had a startup screen with a song. But not Genesis! Next time please do more research.

The European Saturn screen was on US Saturns, too-- which are NTSC. Just saying. Plus, the Hi-Saturn screen had a different tune. :-) But yes, I'm glad I'm not the only one who knows that the NES/Famicom and Genesis/Mega Drive don't have boot screens on their own. At least WatchMojo didn't try to use SE7EN13's fan made SNES intro and pass it off as a real startup, though. Nor did they use the N64 Disk Drive's boot screen and claim that the N64 itself had a real boot screen when it doesn't.

4:51 is a complete and total lie. You're looking at the boot up screen to the Famicom Disk System. That wasn't available for the NES and as such you'll never see that boot screen on it. If you turn on the NES without a game inside of it you'll get nothing but a dead screen. This boot screen would also not appear on a Famicom without a Disk System plugged in. I have no idea why you made all of this up.

How about a Top 20 for intros to software? That classic Capcom melody before a round of SF2 is iconic.

The NES never had a boot up screen-- that's the Famicom Disk System's boot screen-- same with the Genesis (the "SEEEEEGAAAA!" screen was only on Sonic games and nothing else). Did you do any research? At all?

Ive always loved the ps1s opening screen! Golly, i forgot how classy it looks! That orange diamond with the understated text! Not flashy AT ALL!
