I mean as an all time list this is pretty accurate .X-Men was ALWAYS considered as a better team than avengers until 2012 by most of the people interested in marvel. The thing with Avengers and Justice League,they have heroes that usually work alone and have their own name but they HAD TO form a team because of a shared goal but x-men was always a team and a family from the get-go.

And so are The New Teen Titans by Marv Wolfman. Who history of fighting as a team is even greater than the Xmen. First the were the sidekicks who all learned from the greatest hero's ever then they formed their own super team. Don't get me wrong the Xmen are cool but The Titans are trained way better and have been fighting before they were even teens.

Power scaling is completely irrelevant when deciding what team is better. What you should be considering is the quality of the writing, the history of the characters, and the enjoyment you get from the comics. Saying that the justice league and x men are better than the avengers just because of power scaling is stupid and is equivalent to saying that injustice is better than mortal combat because the characters are stronger.

What makes the Shazam Family is that the viewers see the family dynamic throughout the film via Billy Batson's interactions with his foster family. Before they even had powers, the foster kids were so charming and likable making for a wholesome relationship that they became a true family.

The Justice League has a few bases over the years, and almost all of them have been amazing. From a hollowed-out mountain filled with amazing technology to a satellite that orbited the Earth to a moon base and now the actual Hall of Justice that serves as a museum as well as a headquarters for every hero, the Justice League has never been why about showing off. There have been a few bases that could have been better. When the Justice League became a United Nations sanctioned team, the America team was stationed in a brownstone that could barely handle the energy needs and had a leaky roof, but besides that, every base has been the thing of dreams.

The superhero team is a tried and true tradition: seeing the great heroes of a universe come together to battle evils too powerful for any one hero to take on alone, saving the galaxy from threats so monstrous they are almost unbelievable. Super teams have a long history of amazing adventures. The Justice League and the Avengers, each team from a different comic universe, signify everything a great team should be. They have had their ups and downs, but somehow they always find a way to save the day and keep their respective universes safe, giving many reasons why each one is worthy of being called the greatest superhero team.

Wesley417 correct. There is no doubt the JLA would destroy the X Men, and especially the Avengers. Superman alone could destroy the Avengers. The only chance the X Men have against the JLA is Professor X. If his mental capabilities can control the JLA, then it’s even. If he can’t, the JLA would destroy any other team in the comic book universe. It’s not even a fair fight. It’s basically Superman against anyone who doesn’t have Kryptonite.

The Justice League International is known for being the funny Justice League, the team that is more known for shenanigans than world-saving. The team's interplay is what makes them so weird, as they squabble and fight constantly, yet somehow always get it together in the end. They did very different things with the classic Justice League formula.

Even when heroes are not on the team, the Justice League still has powerhouses ready to handle the big problems. There have been few evils that the Justice League, no matter who is or is not on the team at the time, has not been able to handle without the assistance of other teams or heroes.
