I heard Annihilator Frontman Jeff Waters uses Creeping Death as his Downpicking Warmup Routine. Tough to imagine they played it even faster live back in the 80s. James really is the downpicking god

Down picking fast isn’t hard. Try economy picking Yngwie Malmsteen solos. Now that’s actually a challenge.

Painkiller isnt actually down picked. The current guitarist will down pick it. But Glen Tipton and KK alternate picked it and thats how they also got the pinch harmonics in the riff. However the riff is still good for improving your down picking

💥💥💥💥Riffler ateş ediyor valla. Bildiğim kadarıyla Painkiller alternate picking ama o parçayı down picking çalmak 20 kat daha keyifli hissettiriyor. Riff kulağa hem daha kararlı geliyor hemde keyifli. Misal; Iron Maiden dan 22 acacia avenue parçasının ilk verse bölümünüde aslında alternate çalarlar ama o bölümüde down picking çaldığında inanılmaz keyifli oluyor. Biraz yorar ama çok keyifli.
