Honorable mention: the Godmaster endings in Hollow Knight. Both require beating the sadistic Pantheon of Hallownest boss rush, and the second requires you to bring a Delicate Flower to the Godseeker(as if delivering it from the Grey Mourner to the Queen's Gardens wasn't already hard enough).

One super hard ending I found really satisfying to get is the Triangle Strategy Seranoa Ending in Wolfort Castle. Obtaining this ending not only requires you to choose the correct pathway through a game that uses a conviction system to allow you access to certain maps, but it also requires you to beat certain maps without utilizing map gimmicks to make those maps more manageable. For instance, in certain maps where you have access to traps that can destroy large chunks of the enemies, you have to go out of your way not to trigger those traps. You also have to pay attention to clues you get in a very text heavy story in order to figure out the answers to a final test before you can choose into the ending maps for the most difficult route in the game. Only then, will you get a version of the ending cutscene that takes place in Seranoa's home of Wolfort Castle as opposed to the Royal Castle of Glenbrook.

@derrickhaggard Жыл бұрын
True as all the stuff needed to get that ending which fills in pretty much most of the plot-holes in Payday 2's story is absurd on a major level. But getting the true ending to Ghost and Goblins deserves to the number 1 spot as you have to beat it a 2nd time and here's the kicker just beating the game the 1st is a challenge in itself due to how difficult this Capcom classic is, but you have to go through it a 2nd time just to get the true ending to quote the AVGN concerning this requirement to get the true ending "Wait I have to go through it again, well that's just great cause now I'm DOUBLY PISSED OFF!!!!"

Jet Force Gemini is insane. You have to search all the stages to find parts for the ship. And one of those parts can only be obtained if you save all the glass cannon tribals in every stage. (I think even Rare realized saving all the tribals was bs since the chief aplogizes in advance for putting you through this). I dont know how anyone is going to find all that shit without a strategy guide or YT playthrough. Even after that you have to go through the final stage culminating in one of the hardest final boss fights outside of the Soulsborne games. I'm pretty satisfied I did do it myself but again I could only do it because I had the strategy guide and even then I refuse to do it again.

Bomberman 64’s true ending has to be one of the absolute HARDEST on the Nintendo 64. Getting the Best Ending on Cave Story should have been on this list. It should of been in the top 3. It's convoluted and difficult as hell. The jump you have to do in the Labyrinth just so you don't fall and acquire the Booster item too soon from the Professor like had to be pixel-perfect. It was unreal. And at the end, the game basically forces you to do one-HELL-of-a-speedrun to the true final boss of the game, Ballos and he has like 3 forms. The game is a 2D-Pixel shooter sidescroller and it was pretty damn good, story and everything. But was very challenging.

Actually, having everyone including Shepard die is the hardest ending of Mass Effect 2. I've never gotten it, because there are a litany of things you actively need to do (badly) in order to achieve it. The difficult part is Miranda, because if she's the last member of the crew, she won't die after you kill the human Reaper. So she needs to die in one of the prior parts of the mission, which requires specific squadmate selection as she can survive those parts even if she's not loyal, if you don't have the right squad configuration.

Even though, its not an ending, but saving both the Geth and Quarians was more difficult in ME3. As you need to have balence of both renegade and paragon points to convince the Quarian generals from not engaging with the Geth after they are freed from the reaper code...

No, you need to have done Tali’s loyalty mission in 2 and not gotten her exiled. You also had to do legion’s loyalty mission in 2 and do not let han gerrel sacrifice himself with his crew. Also actually do all the side missions for legion in 3 before starting the main mission. Then you opt for peace when legion is uploading. It’s not based on renegade or paragon at all.

And I thought the hardest ending in a video game was getting all of the Chaos Emeralds in a Sonic game. Yet again, I’m not that good at the Sonic franchise’s special stages. Oh, and a bonus, if you’re doing a top 20 hardest to unlock secret modes, I’d recommend the one where you’d have to get a perfect in every Sonic Mania Blue Spheres stage. You’d practically have to be a masochist to beat them all.

Last level in Super Ghouls and Ghosts on the second loop is hard because of the psycho cannon hasn't got great reach against astaroth and Nebiroth as they keep moving back and forward. Also it's a race against time but if you have the golden armour it can help but the pressure is still there.

It's honestly more difficult to get the Shepard dies ending of ME2. You need to actively not talk to anyone, not buy any upgrades, purposely pick all the worst options for each task, and specifically leave low survival teammates behind at the end. Their survival level is hidden in the code of the game and not told to the player. The decision to save everyone is one that can be made at most points in the story. The option to lose everyone is one you need to actively work towards from the very start of your playthrough.

The perfect ending for ME2 is easy to get unless your playing it without caring about the outcomes. Isnt that difficult to finish all squad mates missions or to level up the ship, takes time but its not like its overly difficult or a massive grind. 1st playthrough everyone survived without any issues at all. 2nd playthrough i had to go out of my way to not do missions or upgrade ship and purposefully chose the wrong people for the final mission roles. lol. Funny thing is, as usual, live or die, you couldnt play as any of them in ME3 anyway - as i said, the choices never mattered in the ME games.

Playing Prey 2017 on Nightmare difficulty, with very limited resources and items and NOT killing anyone is a nice one too. You are scarce on ammo, several characters are mind controlled by aliens and they die if you come too close and you can also kill survivors on accident when you throw a grenade that gives you resources when it explodes near aliens or simple items like chairs and tables and such......Killing every single survivor is a fun thing too. YOU need to kill the survivors own handed. Not aliens or explosions.

The best way to get the Mass Effect 2 best ending for me is to do all loyalty missions (If you have all loyalty missions done these next choices will not fail), Bring your two best teammates with you for team one but make garrus the leader of team 2, have Kasumi traverse the vents as you push through the collector base. For the second phase, pick samara to be your biotic sheild, and for team 2 try to pick characters with a bit more authority, i chose miranda and the team was fine. Next have mordin escort the surviving crew members back to joker. For the final assult, pick your two best characters to take with you but leave grunt just so the rest of the team can have a bit more manpower. Next you just have to battle through the collectors, kill the boss and then you win, if you do this right, everyone should be alive at the end.

The embrace the void ending with the delicate flower should be on this list because to get this ending, you have to complete pantheon of hallownest in which you have to fight every boss in hollow knight (except the hollow knight and the radiance) where there would be the easy ones like gruz mother, vengefly king, and false knight, the moderate ones like troupe master Grimm, Oro and Mato, and hornet sentinel, and the ones that will piss you off while fighting like grey prince zote, nightmare king Grimm, pure vessel (who is hollow knight on steroids), and absolute radiance (who is the radiance on steroids). And before you even do the pantheon of hallownest, you have to bring the delicate flower from queens garden to the godseeker in which if you take a single hit during the delivery, the flower gets obliterated, if you ride the stag, the flower gets obliterated, if you even use the dream gate, the flower gets fucking obliterated, and you have to do the whole delivery all over again.

one day, WatchMojo will acknowledge that Icepick Lodge exists. Their games all have wildly difficult to get endings. Pathologic: Just getting through a day in one piece is hard enough, let alone twelve, let alone doing all the main missions. On the twelfth day of the plague, your only job is to ensure your Bound characters are healthy. If any of them got sick through your incompetence, you hopefully collected and DIDN'T USE the really rare cures you can get throughout the game. You cure them, and then you can get your doctor's ending. ...however, the other two doctors' Bound are ill. If you have more cures, you could save them as well. If you save another doctors' bound as well, you get a secret ending (Dolls in a Sandbox). If you do the incredibly hard job of saving *all three* doctors' bound, you get an *even secreter* ending (Conversation With the Playwright). The Void: The game is incredibly hard, and making it through the game far enough to find your Real heart is already final-boss quality material. At this point, you can just wait out the clock and get the bad ending. Alternatively, you can keep searching and kill the Brothers to find all the hearts in the game, fill yourself to the brim with Color and ascend for the normal ending. ...Alternatively, you can do the above, feed one of the Sisters a *couple thousand* color (while not upsetting - or alternatively, just killing - her Brother) and ascend them instead (which is a harder ending). ...or, you can do the above, ascend the Nameless Sister's tree to resurrect her (costing all the color in your body), AND THEN feed her all the green and gold you can muster AND THEN ASCEND HER AGAIN. This nets you the Nameless Ascent ending. Conversation With the Playwright and Nameless Ascent should 100% have been on this list.

Ok so there is a cheese strat I found in kh1 for the secret ending which I didn't get to see even though I did everything but my game crashed on the FINAL CUTSCENE anyways so the time trials in the cups or for any of those mini games you don't actually have to beat them, you see on normal difficulty you only need to complete the journal so beating it is not required you just have to attempt it and the mini game is logged, granted it still is hard since you do have to do it solo but its not horrible and could save you from doing what is probably the hardest part of 100% I know I actually did break my computer on this

I've only played ME2 once and I didn't have a hard time saving everyone. Unless you count that one ensign lady who apparently dies if you don't start that final mission quickly enough lol. But as far as your party members go, I didn't have any problems.
