Thank you for mentioning this because it was driving me insane as to where I recognized her from and I didn’t remember that he actually brought this up during his monologue when he hosted SNL. I never watched Game of Thrones. It just isn’t my kind of show, but I thought it was really sweet to hear that they met on the show and actually fell in love. The same goes for Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer (I know the clip was of her and Alexander Skarsgard’s character and not Moyer’s character) from True Blood 😊

I’ve never gotten through the entirety of The Vampire Diaries so I’ve never gotten to see Klaroline which makes me so sad because I’ve always loved their relationship whether it’s their bickering or making out. They have one of if not the best relationship on the show. They seemed to truly understand each other and they have such a unique relationship. They bring love and understanding to each other that no one else in their lives did

One couple I love and also started somewhat at odds with one another, only to become a beloved couple is Temperance Brennan (a.k.a. Bones) and Seeley Booth. I just love their dynamics, with Brennan's logical perception often clashing with Booth's instincts. Their love story had quite a slow start (seriously, those two took a while to take off as a couple), but once that happened, they became couple goals.

Veronica and Logan's relationship was so unexpected and at the same time it felt right. I still dont accept the final episode. We did not wait for a revival all these years just for this. Nope, this never happened.

Veronica and Logan’s relationship is WHY I hate this trope. Logan was threatening and abusive early on, and I can’t see a woman dating someone that showed up with a group of friends and accosted her with a baseball bat. He didn’t “just” vandalize her car - that’s only where he *started.* Five teenaged boys there to “teach a lesson” to a 90-lb. teenaged girl isn’t a recipe for teen romance, it’s the start to a sexual assault. To have her start dating the guy, and for female fans to just brush it off and teen angst, was just nuts to me. And VM wasn’t the only show with this issue; while most will they won’t they stories are just snark, some are dark, with the woman basically starting a relationship with a violent, abusive person.

Jackie/Hyde (That 70s Show), Joey/Pacey (Dawson's Creek), and Eve/Villanelle (Killing Eve) should have made the cut. Maybe even Lois/Clark (Smallville). But I definitely ship several of these: Buffy/Spike, Chuck/Blair, Logan/Veronica, Sookie/Eric, Castle/Beckett, Jon/Ygritte, etc. I would have preferred Klaus/Hayley over Klaroline, because they built a true partnership over years rather than just being a sudden obsession. Lol but a lot of these were good 🙂

One couple that time has forgotten is Laura (Stephanie Zimbalist) and Remington (Pierce Brosnan) from 'Remington Steele'. The chemistry between them was electric. In the first episode, basically steels (forgive the pun) her detective agency out from under her, and the two never seem to agree on anything...but they come to truly care about each other, and their eventual romance so rewarding to watch. A lot of credit is given to Moonlight for kicking off the whole they hate each other / they love each other trope, but it was Laura and Remington who started it years before.
