@@rosajessica7405 things happen 🤷🏽‍♀️. Trends and music changes With evolvement and people move on To the next thing that's hot. Honestly I never stopped supporting Jesse. I've been a fan since I was a kid. And I still like the music he plays today. However it's not mainstream because His demographic is getting older and what people were used to seeing from him was the type of sound that is no longer trendy. Him, Aaron Carter, etc Had that early 2000s teen pop sound that lost its trend around the mid 2000s. That late 90s and early 2000s bubblegum pop music like Dream street, Mandy Moore, S Club 7, Britney Spears And even Christina Aguilera had was fading in popularity by the mid 2000s. People in my opinion often pigeonholed Jesse with that era. That's why I feel like he wasn't able to maintain the mainstream success with his new grown up sound.

When I heard about what happen with Aaron Carter, I was thinking about how his brother Nick Carter would feel. I remember after the Backstreet Boys came out and got popular when I heard Aaron Carter’s music I actually kind of liked it not that I was a really big fan but it’s so sad to see Nick losing his brother, they lost their sister Leslie Carter she only had one song which was like wow it plays on the soundtrack and the end credits to the DreamWorks film Shrek. Mat Kearney is so underrated these days. He’s still making music, but most people my age don't seem to know who he is. Jesse McCartney was big when I was a kid (35 now) but he'll always be Roxas and Ventus from Kingdom Hearts to me. I wasn''t big into the artists that defined other 90s kids' childhoods. Having four older brothers and a dad who listened to a lot of the Golden Oldies, that's more my thing. But just to be fair, I did and still do in some cases, like certain songs from the big names from the decade. I just wasn't a dedicated fan. And looking back, the songs of the 60s, 70s, and 80s have been classics for so long, they're hard to beat. And many of those groups are still touring to some degree or another. That's some staying power.
