For me, it was the "I Don't Need It" scene from Tea at the Treedome. SpongeBob's voice sounding hoarsely (due to the effects of him being exposed to air for a long period of time) as he yells the phrase over and over before sitting down, the detailed close-ups of his face all dried up, sweating profusely as he just stares at the vase, with him slowly whispering to himself (with dramatic notes in the background): _"i don't need it..... i don't need it..... i... DEFINITELY.... don't need it...."_ before finally giving in and yelling *IIIIII.... NEEEEEEEED..... ITTTTTT!!!!* and drinks the water out of the vase was a little scary when I first saw this episode, because I thought SpongeBob wasn't going to make it because of the lack of water and him trying to ignore the effects of dehydration to impress Sandy by saying he liked air and could handle it
