Nightcore Queen you don't have to be, nice guys will most likely notice a girl who is more quiet than someone who is really loud, or someone that has a less friends group than someone who has a huge friends group. If he's looking for someone to pay attention to and to be with someone that is really chill they'll look for someone who's more quiet. I personally would want to be with someone who didn't have such a huge friends circle just because it's easier and I know that if someone has a huge friends group (someone who's "cool") I know they'll always be out and always spending time with their friends and will never chill with me, where as someone who's "not as cool" will more likely want to spend more time with me and be more interested with me while also having a nice friends circle at the same time. You don't have to be cool to get the right boy, you be you and the right one will notice you for the right things, not for fake reasons.

At my last Homecoming dance, I actually was that one lonely girl sitting down because nobody asked her to dance. But to my amazement, my crush came over to me and asked me to dance with him, even though he already had a Girlfriend. Why do guys always give you false hope? My former crush teased me, let me touch him a lot, noticed me a ton, etc. Yet my Christmas present was the fact that he apparently doesn't like me. One of his friends even asked him at a speech tourney and was like "so, you said you really liked *my name* on the bus yesterday?" I'm really confused. I wouldn't be surprised if he just wanted to keep up his reputation because the majority of my classmates don't trust me after I hurt one of his friends, and they might have thought he was crazy. Any advice? I just want to know why.

So I've liked this guy for a while, and we talk to each other not all the time. Its really hard for me to actually ask him the usual stuff like: "what things are you intrested in" or "do you enjoy this or that?" Blah blah blah. Then there was this formal that I went to and we see each other but pretend we didn't. But at the last song (it was a slow dance) I was sitting down because I didn't have anyone to dance with because I'm lonely and all my friends were dancing with their guy friends (some girl friends too) but then HE came up to me and asked me to dance with him. I'm A Goner just start talking casually to him when you catch a chance, he will notice that you care AND you'll see from his reaction and body language if he likes you(witch is probably yes since he invited you to dance with him and probably expects some positive reaction for trying to get closer to you )... Step 1 and step 4 I'd definitely agree with, others not so much. I'd feel more open to wanna get with a girl when she shows she actually likes me other wise I'm not gonna know if you do or not. Give slight clues that you like a guy and he'll know he can make a move. Step 3 I don't 100% agree with because I feel I notice a girl who's different and more quiet then people who are with loads of friends because I will have to try talk to you while having everyone looking at me and having opinions at the same time, I'd find it a bit overloading to think about what everyone thinks of me when all I want is YOUR attention, I'm not saying don't hang around friends but the step that she made of don't be quiet and alone I don't think Is true. I feel guys spot and pick out the odd one out a lot easier than girls think. If someone is always talking none stop It actually might make me more interested with the more quiet girl because she has more mystery about her (I may wanna make her laugh or see if I can get her to talk since I've already heard the last girls life story without being able to talk myself). If I really liked a girl and they knew that or they thought that and they started talking and tryna get involved with my friends that's gonna cause a red flag because of jealousy and because men automatically want to be "top dog" when a girl is around that they like. If he see's his friends are making her laugh and joking around then he's gonna feel there's competition and could lead into complications which you do not want to cause. I would rather you showed you were only interested in me if you were wanting to get to me. Basically it will do 1 of 4 things, 1) it'll make the guy jealous and will cause him to step his game up to try get to you which would be a good thing. 2) it'll make him jealous and cause complications since he wants you and he thinks you like his friends or thinks his friends might like you. 3) it could cause one of the friends to actually like you causing competition, causing fall outs, causing trust issues with that friend, uncertainty because he might get thoughts and could lead him away from his friends which is a big no. 4) you become friends with his friends and you make sure they are well deep into the friends zone so that they know they have 0 chance of getting with you and will not try competing or attempting to go for you leaving your crush open to come want you without having anyone in the way which would be what you wanna do if you listen to Kimberly.
