Thanks for putting this video together. It was pretty useful to figure out what games I’d like to try. It was kind of a hassle to look up the names of the games, though. And at a couple of points I wasn’t sure if the game ended or if it was a different mode in the game. In future videos I recommend text overlays with your video to fix these two problems.

i got my ps1as a gift from my dad's friend, with bunch of games like tekken 2, twisted metal 2, fifa 97, bandicoot, etc, but among those titles, theres 1 game i always played with my lil bro, its his fave. long story short, the cd got broken, probably bcs it got played over and over again by us, and... i lost my bro.... and sometimes when i think about the times we used to play, i tried to search it, bcs nowadays you can play ps1 using emulator, but without a title, its impossible. but i search it anyway, anywhere. its almost like a quest. a quest in search for a beat em up game with japanese title on the cd cover. and i havent found it. i've watched those yt vids with the hundreds titles of ps1 hoping to finally able to know, including the vids with titles specified for japanese games only, still no luck. and this vid is on my recommended list so i watch it. and finally i found it. you dont know how happy i am writing this comment. i just wanna say thanks man for really uploading this vid. my quest is over.

That's very cool bro! I hope you've enjoyed yourself this two weeks, I imagine, memories of you both playing are a great treasure for you. sure it was a quest and a very kind and brave one. What a beautiful way to remember him, by trying to find an old Japanese game which in many cases (for westerners are almost impossible to find again) and succeed. The only game of the list that I've noticed so far that isn't Japanese only is the Metal Slug game, what others weren't released in Japan. Okay. Now that the various sites are shutting down ( specifically, the Paradise site) in light of Nyntendon'ts legal wrangling, where do I go to get the downloads of some of these out of region games for me now which don't also have virus pontential? Any translation to English options available too?

I watched the whole video, and tried to find info on most of them on the net, and guess what ? For lots of them is hard to find proper info on the net, even on wikipedia, so it would be nice if someone could make articles on wikipedia about them , its not hard, anyone can become contributor there . And also I see you start to post longer videos of some J games in your channel , with small info. I have advice for you to put link of those videos in front of their game names in info of this video , and also position of the game in this video , for instance: 20:16 Momotaro Densetsu - kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3bCnJWdd7qYiq8

KodaiYuki1 Google Playstation Datacenter - it's got information on more or less every PS1 game save a few. Regarding your suggestion, I've been meaning to provide links to the games' positions, but haven't had the time. I'll probably get to it in a few days.

KodaiYuki1 Unfortunately the Romanization of Japanese is inaccurate so when you type in those Japanese names (in English) they will not always turn up anything, though if you use the Japanese google search you might have better luck getting info, but in Japanese of course. You need some tools like English to Katakana convertor and Romaji Kanji convertor, etc.
