My Harbor Freight was sold out in less than 1 hour on Friday. I got 2 when they had them on Monday for Inside Track Club members. They were almost all gone in 1 hour then also. Not sure in the Freight underestimated how popular they would be or if the wanted them to be hard to get. Nice little box.

word to my fellow Canadian friends: that Kobalt tool box is branded Mastercraft for Canadian Tire, and they're on for 15 bucks CDN. I got one and I might get a second one. Obviously this is not the heaviest duty tool box you're ever gonna own, but it's super handy for small bits and bobs. Obviously it doesn't have super nice sliding ball bearing drawers or anything, but it's a great place to throw the wrench for your router, or your countersink drill bits that don't fit in your normal drill bit holder.

Those Ryobi 18 volts nail guns are surprisingly good. I use them for a living and can’t believe how well they work.

Yep, I returned the milwaukee m12 wrench (tool only) I got from northern tools for 180 dollars and got the same thing from home depot for 155 dollars with a charger and 4ah battery to boot lol.

Lowe’s had 4 dewalt batteries and a free tool for $199. 2 x 2ah 2 x 4ah and a 3/8”stubby impact. Could have gotten a 1/2” or a number of other tools

FYI, Harbor Freight's mini US General toolboxes are much nicer, but they were limited supply doorbusters on black friday for $10 and sold out fast. I snagged 2, only 20% of the stock was Red/Blue, 80% was black. I also got several Kobalts. The US General toolboxes have actual rolling drawer slides and drawer liners -- the Kobalt uses cheap non-rolling slides.

One thing about the Dewalt tape measure is that the numbers will rub off somewhat easily. I've only had my for a year or two and noticed that this is a problem. Maybe they have since fixed it...not really sure but something to consider.

Just got a 2 tool combo kit with 2 5.0 Ah batteries for $349.99 (42% off) that comes with a free tool ($199.99 value) from Milwaukee from Home Depot I got the angle grinder. It's a special cyber monday deal that wasn't there on Friday, ends in like 10 hours from now I think. 42% savings at checkout. I was going to get the Dewalt 2 tool deal with a drill and driver with a 6 Ah and 2 Ah battery for $299.99 (25% off) but I really wanted the 3 tool deal with 2 batteries for $399.99 (42% off) but they sold out of that one real quick and no store has it either all dried up. I saw they had a DeWalt impact wrench kit for $170 when the tool alone is $230 so I picked that up and I saw that Milwaukee deal today while looking to see if that DeWalt kit was in stock and I'm glad I did the 2 tool kit was from Milwaukee $499.99 on Friday only $100 off.

I don't think that Dewalt 735x planer deal is just "solid" since the Dewalt 735x WITHOUT Stand was going on sale for $599 numerous times just before and during black friday and several KZbinrs were calling it a "great deal". I'd call it one of the "best deals" on the planer if you want the stand. Personally, I like the stand and paid $649 for this deal 3 months ago which had been the best price you could get it for until Cyber Monday. I feel the stand is certainly worth $29 unless you really want to build your own stand.
