Muffler delete and straight pipes on the scion are absolut fart cans. But the borla s type is a big win from me tbh

@ there expensive bro it was like 500 bucks. I originally wanted a trd exhaust, but trd no longer produces it I couldn’t find it anywhere, so I went with the borla. If I were to do it again tho, and if you don’t mind the car being a little louder, I personally would go muffler delete, keep the resonator, and secondary cat delete. That gives the car a pretty deep tone, without it being too raspy 👌

@ it would definitly sound much different if you did muffler delete and secondary cat delete, but it would sound very nice. If you want a DEEP exhaust note I’d go for that. But if you just want a slightly louder exhaust, that still sounds clean, just do the borla axle back and stop there that’s what I’m running on my car 👌

Megan Racing N1 is pretty good exhaust, too. It's quiet but can get loud at OT. It has a nice deep rumble with zero rasp when you do direct install with factory midpipe.

when I had mine, I left the resonator, put a Flowmaster Super 10. it had a really good tone to it, not farty nor excessively loud. imo. really fun car to drive too.

The First Scion TC made me smile, the best sounding exhaust. I need to get a new Exhaust on my Camry, it's starting to rot. I'm gonna have a shop make the pipe larger and install a Magan Blast pipe at the end.

Magnaflow and Vibrant usually sound much better on 4 cylinders. But the Borla S-Type didn’t sounded bad at all.

As a owner, the Borla is the one which is most livable. I wonder what is the ratio of Auto vs manual built from Toyota. I own a manual and most of the time I find it hard another.

I think the TRD exhaust on these tCs is a rebadged Borla. I have one on my 2012 and love it! I am thinking about necking up the header flange to 2.5in ID and removing the secondary cat + custom 2.5'' pipe all the way back to the TRD axleback though

There's a reason I keep my 4 banger accord quiet. Sounds like a pissed off bee or a bad fart. Exhaust on V8s tho. Thats where its at. Gotta single Flowmaster outlaw dumped. Wish I did duals.

Same I have that same engine 2ar-fe in my Camry I’m going to keep it stock on exhaust side. Pretty much is all stock the only thing I have upgraded was the sound system is all aftermarket 🤷🏻‍♂️

first scion tc is sound ok but the second scion tc sound like a rice out civic "sound so bad" third scion tc is good but not loud. those are not top 3 for sure. there way more better step up than that.
