It's insane that Vince Carter of all people, somewhone who lived off his athleticism for much of his NBA career, was able to play (and dunk) at NBA level for so long. If injuries had cut his career ten years shorter, it wouldn't have come as a surprise. That man was the epitome of longevity.

This is a great video. A few of the dunks I couldn't even remember until now, so this was great to relive these moments. 🙂 Interesting style of video too, this was different seeing someone make a montage going by the age of all athletes instead of year of the dunk. It's great to see how good Kobe, Lebron, and the king of dunks himself, Vince Carter, performed in their late 30s and into their 40s. That last dunk by Vince meant so much too, what a perfect way to end it. 25,000 points for VC, and it was no baby dunkk either. Two hand with power, swung on the rim too. It's the way it needs to be. 🤣 It's the reason why I like the dunkers in this video and love em' as players. I watch basketball cuz it gives me enjoyment, seeing someone get crossed up, seeing someone get dunked on. But dunks always been my thing. I see a fast break with one player, I know usually it's showtime. It annoys me the way some people play when they have a clean drive to the basket and do a gentle flush. I love when someone wants to take off the rim, that shit gets me out my fuckin seat. 🤣 I understand some people come to the game and it's a job for them, they just want to come to the arena, get the win and go home. So I appreciate when people are out there playing with the most passion having fun, they drive to the basket trying to make a statement. They get off the ground and trying to come down with the rim. 🤣

A lot of the dunks in this videos highlights package were of defenders not fully ready. However with the Bogut one, Javale had time to set and was staring Bogut down as he came to the ring, but to no avail. The best thing about it too was the back story where Javale had put some stupid instagram post to taunt Bogut about him dreaming of a dunk he did in a previous play off match, only for Bogut to destroy him a few days later with this dunk.
