Thanks! Really means a lot! I'm going to add a ride segment next time. Is there anything else you would like to see?

@@trailtalkmtb6603 Sounds good! Another cool thing to see in my opinion would be some sort of quick fire reviews of some small handy products or some new local trails? Keep up the good work!

Rekons are a really good mid way point on grip vs rolling resistance. I ran a DHF up front and a rekon on the rear on my 2019 Genius. Worked really well. The rolling resistance of the rekon balanced the weight of the DHF when acceding and the DHF dug in when the rekon was breaking traction on the loose stuff when descending. I also rode Rekons front and rear for a while and found them to be quite well balanced. Good all terrain tyre. Obviously didn't like mud too much. Got caked up pretty quick.

@@trailtalkmtb6603 easily man! 340m of elevation and we already have incredible trails out here. Let me know when you make the trip 👌🤘

Warburton VIC's 180km network with up to 900m in elevation is crawling along pretty slowly at the moment though had recent developments - hope T-Bar's project moves along a bit quicker!

@@ryanstarrett damn that’s wild ! Toowoombas will be all Machine built and the guys seem to plow out trails pretty fast up here, trailworx that is, hopefully they get the contract. The dudes are real MTb riders and love flowy shit 😄

Yeah not sure on how the ratio of machine/hand cut at Warby. Digging was supposed to start at the start of 2020 but some politics got involved even though funding and contracts were all sorted. Hopefully get started digging soon, think it will make it the largest destination in Aus - check it out online

Loving the new format Phil! It would be great if you could cover gear, settings, and editing for ride footage. I’m not interested in starting my own youtube channel but I would love to have some short vids to show friends and family. I think they wonder what I am up to when I am gone several times a week.

I'm really liking this new series, awesome way to recap on what's been going on and just an overall great video! I have a question that alot of other people will be asking as well. What are some ways to convince parents/significant others to buy a bike? Looking forward to the next episode and keep up the great work!

One more thing to check. Chain length. My 1x12 hardtail came from the shop with chain too long. I put my bike in the smallest gear 10 tooth cog and the chain had notable slack. I fixed it myself but it had 2 links more than it should have.

Great work Phil! Here's a question for next episode How have your tyre choices changed since moving to QLD? Are you still a fan of the assegai or is faster rolling more of a priority after away from the rock rolls of Mt Narra?

Question for the show. Best dual suspension mountain bike between 3000 and 4000. Needs to be 27.5. Thinking trance 27.5.
