A couple weeks ago I bought a white 2010 tc. It was an out of state car and has zero rust! From the dealership it had tinted windows and aftermarket antenna that really short. As far as mods are concerned I’m only doing necessary things. I put small mirrors on my side mirrors because the back pillar is absolutely huge, my headlights have condensation so I ordered led halo lights. I kinda want to paint the rims because they are all scratched up but that seems like a huge project I just don’t have time for. Also I’ll get a black or pink random Japanese vinyl for the back window because aesthetics and it’s easily removable if I sell the car.

Have had my TC for almost a year now. Great car with great handling, easier to take turns at higher speeds, than again it can't go very high in terms of speed. I mean more that it can maneuver well at all times. Also, TC's have this easter egg where you can lay down the seats and create like a lounge area, but this is only for 2011 and before, will not work for the newer models ( I spent a whole 15 minutes trying to figure out what to do before realizing it was only for older models lool.)

I just got my manual 2015 Scion tC five days ago it only has 25k original miles on it. I got it because it looks good, it’s cheap to fix, cheap on gas, cheap on insurance, has some speed, & is actually fun to drive as it hugs the road very well. Eventually I want to get a WRX or a STI but for now this will help build my credit & I can trade it in for one when I pay it off.

Practicality with sportiness. The presence and the silhouette of the car is great. And if I need to haul people, I can stick them at the back and they won't try to throttle me for having a coupe. There's also cargo space for days! With the right exhaust and parts, I have a people hauler that sounds and performs great.

Was about to pull the trigger on a 2008 scion tc, then read about oil consumption issues because of bad piston rings. Do you have any advice. The car has 89,000 miles and their asking $5800. I've been searching awhile and have looked at mini's, gti s, Volvo c30, mazda3. Would appreciate your advice.

Honestly I’ve gotten this question a few times. As far as with my experience owning a few tC’s I’ve never had that issue. Umm I wouldn’t be too worried about it, I sold my 2006 tC with 130k miles for $5,000 so as far as price wise I think that’s a good deal, but that was also 5 years ago. Look around don’t rush it. But for the oil I wouldn’t worry about it, just ask whoever is selling it if he’s had any trouble with issue. Just don’t directly ask him, kinda beat around the bush until you get on the topic of oil and how often he changes it and what not. Good luck man keep me updated if you get I’d love to see it

@@MkZoki Thanks for getting right back to me MK. That's great advice. I'm looking trying to find a fun little car with a manual to knock around in. Here's a list in no particular order. I’ve had a 2006 Scion tC and a 2012 tc. Both were great cars. What you have to look for is how many miles are on the car and has it been in any accidents. I personally liked my 2011 more just because it had a little more comfort and better radio in it. But the performance of the 2 were the same. If you want Bluetooth go for a 2012. And make sure you get a manual! I actually sold my tc that is in this video for $5000 so it is not hard to find a great tc for a low price. Keep me updated man

Im 37yrs old, and i love the scion tc because its very good looking affordable and a simple reliable car to keep. I own a 2008 sicon tc, and my dream car was the Lamborghini gallardo. Now my dream car is the 2016 scion tc because its now more modified than how stock it is , still. I LOVE THE SCION TC!!!! but i do love other cars too. I used to have a 2002 honda accord. I didn't want that car at first because i started hating on "Hondas" when i was younger. just because i kept hearing about honda this , honda that , honda over here, all about honda, and tried to make honda a super car, and just so tired about hearing of honda honda honda. Well my experience with the Honda Accord was the best i ever had in my life. I was a good handeling car, economic , and easy to maintain , I also fell in love with the car. I also would wanna try out the Lexus is 300. Another car i would like to try out is the Acura RSX. I would also love to try out the legengary Mk4 Toyota Supra. I also love the Volkswagen Jetta , a cool unique car in my opinion. And a really cool car that got my attention as well is the Infinity G35, i just think its a very well balanced car with sleek style. Also a car that i would love is the Dodge Neon SRT4. And i like the 201q Kia Forte, BUT i will still love to have the Lamborghini countach 500, i loved that car since i was 7yrs old

I never had more problems with any car then my 2006 tc, my 1986 rx7 has had less problems. The Tc needed new tranny, new shifting cables, new rims, new sway links, new struts at 180k. The bill with parts alone was over 3k. My 1985 300zx and my 1986 rx7 has been more reliable. If I could go back and tell my self not to by the tc and go for the honda I would.👊😎👌🏻💨💨💨📟

I have a first gen. The tc first gen got a lot of hate and under appreciated in the car scene idk about the second gen. Mostly because lots of younger "kids" give them a bad name but same could be said for other cars aswell,I've seen bmw,Mercedes or any car for that matter with a bad driver behind the wheel. But honestly in reality the tc is a great car for the money. And even if the name "unsporty poser car" given to the car by "real car enthusiasts" holds true haha..that's even better,as Keiichi Tsuchia said "driving a superior car all the time worsens your skill, the AE86 has taught me to be a better driver." The AE86 was in the same boat kinda like the tc in a way, people made fun of it saying it's not powerful, not a true sports car..while both holds true but it made Keiichi a better driver. And doesn't matter what car you drive, take it to a track if the chance is given, learn the car and it's characteristics, work with it,who knows? You might just benefit from it in the future. Nice ride and video dude, peace.
