That’s great guys! There are shoals off of Umbrella point and reefs east of it. A bunch of gas heads there in the middle of the trinity bay. All looks promising. I’m down until February when the new boat comes in.

it depends on the area, but there are usually channel markers sitting on deeper water.

In the Carolina's, especially for trout, it is in the creeks that have the deep holes near mud flats. But bait presentation becomes the difference between catching and not. Slow down your presentation, and when you think you are going slow enough, slow down some more!
