I work for the government. I was in Supply Chain for 18 years. Leadership changed so am interviewing for the AO GS11 which is a promotion for me. Interviews are not what they used to me. I had one today with a biopharmaceutical company and it was a solid 45 mins of behavioral questions. I was completely exhausted after it was over. Be prepared for several scenarios of "What would you do?" or "How would you handle?" or "Tell me a time when you...?" questions. These were deep questions. Always tell the interviewers if the person was receptive to the information. I prepared but I'm not sure if I prepared enough.

Had the job offer today following my second interview and just wanted to let you know that it was all down to your advice and videos which really helped me prepare - I ended up getting an offer however I was surprised when they offered me a 12 month maternity contract instead of the perm role which I thought I was interviewing for. I'm a Senior Unix Systems Engineer with nearly 15+ years of experience. With the past three employers I've worked for, I really didn't have any interview questions other than describing what I had done in past roles. Most of the interview was the employer describing what the company did and what the duties of the position were. And maybe being asked if I had any experience working with different things. I have always prepared for my interviews by going over the "commonly asked" questions as well as anything technical I thought might come up.

Thank you very much for posting this information. It is absolutely of a high value and I used them at my interview today. One thing I would appreciate your input in: The interviewer at the very end asked me about my current salary. I was hesitant but I had to answer (he told me if I'm comfortable to share it). Its a very big company to ask such question!! I would appreciate your input.

Great job! I think it's fine for them to ask and I would just be honest. You can always negotiate a higher salary if the one they offer you is too low :)
