Janet Jackson 1987 should be here. She was the first artist to ever perform with a head mic at the Grammys, and she did a backflip on stage too. And she did the entire thing in heels and got a standing ovation. You even included her in the intro.

There is literally no topping him. And nobody will ever come close to the fame that he still has to this day. People try comparing Taylor swift to MJ level of fame. Like Taylor goes to football games and gets some videos taken of her MJ went to a basketball game and they had to shut it down. Lol Not hating on Taylor swift just saying.

The reason that Dolly Parton is so beloved is because she said that Whitney had made it "her song" which is the biggest compliment any singer can get from the person first wrote and sang the song. Ms. Dolly is such an icon and she passed that song on with such a humbleness that others in the industry should have. This is why she's so beloved.

Always have to agree that Michael Jackson will forever be the GOAT. I would have had the BTS Butter performance on this list. Great visuals, storytelling, tricks, and a dance break. Tell me you're a Lady Gaga hater without telling me you're a Lady Gaga hater... I mean her debut of Born This Way is ICONIC af, the woman is in a egg in the beginning of the song, the vocals (specially in the piano/organ) part is amazing, the lyrics of the song are so important, the dancers and the end of the performance with her and the dancers all together like how can you not put it here or at least honorable mentions? Also her first performance ever in Grammys where she performed a medley of Poker Face/Speechless/Your Song with Sir Elton John... Like she deserves more love

That wasn't Michael Jackson's Grammy performance, Michael Jackson was just giving us a message He poured his heart out on this, but we didn't listen! And God spoke to the foolish, stupid mankind! And then GOD will remind us of this night. I have sent you, MICHAEL, who reminded you at every opportunity how important the world is. MICHAEL begged you on his knees to CHANGE, but you did not listen. Exactly we didn't listen, and 36 years later, we sit there and continue to watch as the earth is destroyed day by day. We fight each other, kill each other, and all because a few politicians can't get along, at the expense of all people. Stand up now and CHANGE that, if not for yourself, then for your children and grandchildren. But stand up now and CHANGE yourself. Rest in peace Michael Jackson, the purest soul, whose honor I had the privilege to live in his time. 💯x❤
