OK he barely blinks throughout the entire tornament. from 0:10 through to 2:00 no blinks, then he doesn't blink again until 4:00. Who doesn't blink for nearly 2 minutes, just try to do that.

I've played classic tetris on game boy when I was younger. I particpated and commented competitives tournament for other games, and let me tell you, i never expected Tetris to be so entertaining. And for people criticizing the commentors: it's MUCH MORE difficult to do than you think, i can understand the "BOOM Tetris for XXX" being annoying, but it's part of what helps keep up the rythm.

The more lines you clear at once, the more they'll increase your score, but it's also riskier because you'll have to build up and make sure your line opening isn't clogged.

You can play for only tetrises but that means your stack is going to get higher and higher, especially if you get a line piece drought. This is a high risk, high reward (i.e. aggressive) strategy. Alternatively you can skim singles and doubles, scoring less but keeping your stack more in control and less likely to top out. The best players are able to modify their playstyles depending on the situation they're in.

-avoid making deep, narrow pits which'll hog long bars -don't build too much on top of holes, leave it flat and uncover them -when you're not ready to tetris, spare long bars go on the other side -stay calm -use music 1 because it's the best -don't try too hard

What Does the numbel below the lvl number mean? Right under the line piece. Sometimes it's red, sometimes it's white, what does that mean? I think it counts the number of line pieces the player got, but when does it turn red? To indicate a drout? How many pieces have to pass so it's a drout?

at level 29 everything goes too fast to line anything up, so you essentially lose

it doesnt matter about lines and level, the point is getting the scores as high as you can.. although harry has more level and lines, it doesn't mean the scores will be high as well

He was losing in score, which is what matters, because he cleared a lot of lines but he didn't get as many Tetrises (four lines in one go) as Jeff. So by the time he reached essentially the end of Tetris, he'd missed out on a lot of score and there was no way to catch up.

You do see a little bit of emotion come through in Jonas's play style. If he makes a mistake that leaves him with 'garbage' that he'll need to clean up later, his next move is dropped a little bit faster.
