The sheep farming exploit (at least on PS5) can glitch very easily. Several times, while I was trying this, my game completely froze and I had to close the game and reopen it. It's a good farm, but you have to be careful. Also, sell the hides from the cows and goats to the madam at the Passiflora. You'll get so much more crowns. When she runs out, fast travel somewhere other than Velen&Novigrad (they share a map), then back, she will have crowns again. Make sure she has 0 crowns when you reset her so she'll have more when you see her next

I’m on PS5 as well and this particular one with the sheep never glitched on me, but I was doing one with pigs and and that glitched on me and I did the same thing you did. I just turned everything off and turn everything back on and it worked fine. but thanks, Frankie boy for showing us this awesome stuff And by the way, I don’t use devils puff wall I use superior grape shot and then if there’s any sheep still alive, left I spam the crap out of them with Igni. I have the Griffin build and believe me that baby burns rubber on their faces lol

@OTCRock4one I was using Devil's Puffball, so it's probably because of the effect on top of the spawning goats that is causing the freeze

I used the sheep exploit and it eventually bugged fast traveling to Skellige for me, had to reload a save 😭

Theres another method u can grind wraiths in the dragonslayers grotto just meditate after u kill some wraithes and theyll respawn

There are no cows for me. Any idea what should i do?

AFAIK the Chort only spawns if you kill Cows in White Orchard - I murdered quite a few in the Farmstead and no Chort

If you hit the wraiths with your sword they will not die. If you touch the "door" with the symbol you'll be transported out and the game will think you're still in, so great keeps saying "Damn." Every 10 seconds.

can confirm it works, just be careful with the bomb, it can glitch out and make you freeze in place and have to quit to fix it. just make sure you save in between rounds

@ I found that you can do the same thing to the pigs in white orchard. You throw devils puffball, and meditate, every 2 hours the pigs respond, you can get more pigs dead, but I think around every 8 hours you’d have to re throw a puffball in depending on your build, could seriously outpace this glitch in terms of loot, and the pig hide breaks down into leather scraps selling for more gold.

I think there's no much use for such exploits in tw3 as you get abundant everything in the game anyway and even while being the recommended level for the main quest are too strong for the game to be challenging. Tw4 better make the game force you to use its entire systems and thinking about what you are doing to make it more interesting to play.
