It goes back to the job market and where you live. I would probably read A+ if you know nothing about IT and focus on marketing yourself. Most students I train start with A+ and focus on home labs and learn how to market themselves. They usually end up with a mid-level role paying around 50-65k. Than I would have them focus on more advanced certs like azure, aws, ccna depending on the next role they want. Awesome video by the way. I agree with you on the cert part of it. Get a cert if you need it. Don't waste money for no reason.
