This was great video! Samsung wanted $350 to just come and take a look, then they sad my washer was to old, I should get new one, I followed this video and found sick in the intake of drain pump, so issue is solved. Thank you again!

Interesting with this washer I had a Samsung many years ago and it did the same thing .. seems these models do these things especially without the agitator. Several things went wrong eventually the warranty covered a new one they never did figure it out . Good going !

When I reached my finger into the Intake of the drain pump to make sure it was clear there is a plastic thing in there that blocks it. It seems like it is supposed to be there like a drain stop? Is that right?

I've got a draining iss that is intermittent, about every 3rd time we run the machine. Got a 5C code on diagnostics and also a 4c but water pressure looks good. Will take the steps in this video to check. Could a vacuum locked drain line possibly be a cause also?

Yes, improper installation of the drain pipe can lead to issues. There are plenty of resources online how deep the drain pipe should be inserted into the drain. Could also he a partial blockage somewhere in the system.

Great video , I have the same problem with control board being disconnected . What type of wire did you use to splice black /yellow wires together ? Speaker wire ?

I did not have to add wire, I just connected the two broken ends together with solder. If you feel uncomfortable soldering, just use butt connectors.

nice to see you got your machine working my Samsung top loader the pump was packed up and replaced with the older machine I used to have now the water pump keeps running what must I do to fix it.

Try letting the pump run for a few moments. It may be in flood mode and need a few minutes to clear up. I would let it run for 5 minutes and see if it stops

i get OC code, when I disconnect power, the things drains itself..which means no clogg and pump working, right? so why the drainn code.

Hi I’m wondering could you give me advice . My amana washer is broken. My washer agitator is making a grinding noise and is not moving at all. In addition the wash gets stuck rinse . That is how I realized it’s not even moving the clothes .

ATG & I suggest to use the Dry & Wet Vac. Or run a hose (about 7+ feet) into the tube & suck the other end to a bucket. You will have to disable or unluck (open) the lid to get hose into the tube.

To drain the water out of the tub when the pump will not pump it out, just lower the drain hose into a bucket or whatever. Lower the drain hose lower than the water level in the washer and it will drain out quickly.

Just purchased, and had this same machine installed yesterday. After ONE load, it’s already giving me fault codes, and won’t drain. Run as far away as you can from these machines. I should have know better. I’m convinced the positive reviews that Samsung appliances receive are all fictitious. Never again.
