1st step to moving the needle is to listen to Mind Pump. The second step is to make sure you're getting enough sleep. The third step is to strength train. The fourth step is to prioritize protein and eat whole unprocessed foods! Together, these things will improve your life!

My list is: D3/K2 and Creatine (Top Priority) Magensuim, Turmeric and Melatonin (Sometimes 🦉) Probably gonna add a whey protein soon to cut on snacking more. I added recently a pre workout (ghost) and i started feeling a weird feeling in my left chest (heart probably) so I'm gonna stop using a pre. Coffee is enough for me and doesn't make me feel weird even after 4 cups spread through the day. I remember the old days buying 10 supplements and jugging on the horse pill of amino 10000. Thank god those days r over lol

Still waiting to see Adam or Justin do an opening to the video! Going to comment each video until it happens! I still have millions of questions. As for the multi vitamin, I have read up a lot on why they are not as effective as taking those vitamins separately because certain vitamins cannot be taken at the same time due to clashing with each other. Also, certain vitamins need to be taken on an empty stomach or on a full one and some need to be ingested throughout the day because of how fast it leaves the body.

Can you guys please discuss taking creatine when gout is common in your family? At a recent funeral, three of my cousins (who all lift and care greatly about nutrition) told me to stop taking creatine now that we're all 50+. Im a 51 yr old female & neither my mom (84) nor I have ever had gout! But apparently my cousins and uncles really do. They told me creatine will bring on gout and I need to stop. Currently train 4-5 days/wk and have for 15 yrs.

I could be wrong, but from what I've read, I was led to believe that with multivitamins, you never truly know what the quality is, and can't necessarily trust the ingredient label. Basically, you don't know what you're actually getting. I don't take multivitamins. Taking single-type vitamins by themselves a pain, but I just feel more comfortable supplementing that way. My blood tests prove that the high doses of vitamin D3 I take, end-up in my blood, so I am a believer in vitamin supplementation.

Any recommendations of brands for a multi vitamin?
@kinseykowalski4288
@kinseykowalski4288 4 күн бұрын
I would disagree with electrolytes unless you’re losing a lot of them via sweating or an endurance athlete. A lot of electrolytes are included in multivitamins, which was already recommended. Also electrolytes can be dangerous for those with any degree of kidney dysfunction. Unless you have a documented electrolyte issue, most people do not need them and it would be better to just supplement with that specific electrolyte if you ARE deficient

Creatine 100% makes me bloated, puffy and packs on the pounds. I have tried it so many times and so many brands. I look like a fat pig after 3-4 weeks and the longer I take it the more I gain. I’ve tried this in a calorie deficit, at maintenance and in a surplus. I am 110lb female. Creatine is not for everyone, not too many women I know can tolerate it.

Electrolytes by proxy are causing some conflict in the carnivore community right now in terms of actually eating some carbs. There's a train of thought mostly coming from Saladino that if you're suffering low or imbalanced electrolyte symptoms that's your body telling you to eat some carbs, probably because you're a fairly active person. Of course if you don't want to electrolyte supplements are a valid option but it may be worth considering trying a small amount such as a piece of fruit before bed first and see how it impacts you. Especially if you're just aiming for low carb. People seem to have lost sight that the whole point of the Atkins diet wasn't being as low carb as possible but actually figuring out through phases what the most amount of carbs you could eat was.

Thank you for the supplement info! I am looking into a vegan protein powder, all the ones I have tried are 🤢🤮 so the next one to try is Huel (thankfully with a discount since no samples available). I'm going to try Organifi as well but Huel is a little cheaper. I am going to look into creatine, I never heard of that before listening to you guys, I did not realize that was a normal person supplement, meaning not just a weight lifter supplement. I was wondering how I measure up when I first listened to this. I'm 3 of 4. Creatine 5mg, whey protein 25g as part of a protein packed smoothie, LMNT (sodium, potassium, magnesium). I also do Vitamin D during the dark, cold winter. But I spend a ton of time outdoors. I ditched multi-vitamins long ago due there being so many and it seemed to be something I was just peeing out. But I can be convinced otherwise. But the market is sooooo full how does one choose?

20:53 the Bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and if we didn't have that adaptive feature to us, by design, our species would have never continued on, just like any created creature out there, if it didn't have the features it has to begin with, it would have died off a long time ago. The Earth would be just as nothing as it was as they believe it started as. All of the minerals and most of the bacteria found in soil are found in every cell of your body, atom, and the Bible also says that we were pulled out of the dirt, making us a part of nature. There you go, there's your new Epiphany on supplementation haha (knowledge) because the Bible also says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge

1. It's misguided to downplay the importance of supplements in an attempt to appear noble or to avoid being portrayed as someone who merely promotes products. There's no reason to create negativity around supplements. 2. Many people who avoid sugar and take supplements are highly motivated to improve their bodies. They're willing to make dietary sacrifices and invest money for even small gains because they're leaving no stones unturned and they are already pushing their limits in diet and hard work. 3. I take supplements not because they're miraculous, but to compensate for deficiencies in my diet and sleep but on the other hand some supplements may be more efficient than certain dietary sources. For example, with creatine or fish oil, would you skip the supplement and eat large amounts of specific foods to get the same nutrients? If you can't get the desired amounts of creatine, EPA, DHA, or protein etc. from your diet, supplementation makes sense. This is what most people do. Ultimately, those who are prone to making unwise choices will do so regardless of what they're taught. So, it's unclear why there's such a fuss about this issue.
