I CAN'T AGREE WITH U MORE. MOST LIFEGUARDS R TRAINED ONLY FOR SWIMMING POOLS +NOT TO WORK ON BEACHES ESPECIALLY LARGE POPULAR BEACHES. IT WOULD B A GOOD IDEA TO SEND A FEW OF THE BONDILIFEGUARDS TO SOME OTHER COUNTRIES TO CHECK OUT THE EQUIPMENT THERE + IF NECESSARY GIVE ADVICE ON HOW / WHAT TO IMPROVE

@@belmarmom true I agree but one time they did a rescue their cpr was wayyyyyy too fast over a guy they resuscitated from a. Drowning it was an Asian male. And then when the guy was throwing up they kept putting oxygen over his face as he’s spitting up. I’m a lifeguard too so I know what they were tryna do but let them finish and then put oxygen on.

I actually cried when they found Manny.. That was awesome! My third son, on his first birthday, was kidnapped by his father after punching me and pushing me out of a moving car. I can't even describe the feeling of losing your child. Thank god he returned my son unharmed to my uncle 10 hours later. We were still out searching when we were called by the police saying they had my son.

@ruthrainous3068 Hey some of the great lakes have fairly decent beaches... Bradford Beach on Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, WI for example during peak summer can look just like a beach on the coast! Believe me I know it's not the same, but sometimes for just a moment on an especially hot and sunny day with the gulls cawing overhead and the sound of the surf, you can close your eyes and almost imagine that the water is briney and smell the salt in the air. As a lifelong sailor and ocean lover myself, it's really the best I can get living in southeast Wisconsin. Although unfortunately as a surfer as well there's hardly any proper waves to let me scratch that itch unless it's a really heavy surf day and the wind is *just* right, in which case it's usually a bit too chilly to enjoy it for more than a couple runs 😢.

Poor women. I experienced anaphylaxis when a nurse put an IV line into my arm with x-ray dye that turned out Im highly allergic to. It was terrible and I ended up passing out and was taken to the trama center of the hospital. When I came too I had no idea where I was or how I got there. It was scary. I found out people can die from it.

My mom was two hours away in another city and he wanted her to give him the epi pen. I literally had to rip it out of my dad’s hand and stab him in the leg bc he was literally turning blue. I feel like the majority of missing children cases come down to three things - - First is local culture / more relaxed view, the ocean is such a huge part of life in Australia, this area especially, I think because they go so often it’s easier to drop their guard and not stay vigilant 100% of the time. Like for people who don’t go to the ocean often, when they do go it’s like a big event and you’re more likely to be hyper vigilant out of unfamiliarity, but if you go to the beach everyday and everything is always fine, it’s easy to drop your guard. - Second factor I think is regional unfamiliarity / blissful ignorance of the ocean. I think many of the backpackers and tourists come from landlocked locations or have never been able to go to a beach, let alone be in the ocean; many have only ever been in small pools so they don’t have any fear of the water and know nothing about how the ocean creates rips. They’re also just so happy to be on vacation that danger isn’t in the front of their mind. - Last obvious factor is selfishness/inattention. A lot of these parents have possibly never been on vacation or in sad cases just don’t see the importance of watching their children closely.

He’s such a nice guy, he has that classic lifeguard look, had the same hairstyle his whole life and it’s always perfect, selfless and heroic, planned the perfect beach related proposal to his wife, incredibly athletic, worships the Hoff and couldn’t contain himself when he got to meet him lol he’s like THE model of how we think a lifeguard looks and acts. I would never put myself in danger intentionally and deeply respect the power of the ocean but being rescued by any of you would be a girls dream lol ❤ So much respect to every single one of you, I cannot give thanks to all of you enough for everything you do
