I discovered a new Amazon scam. When you order something and then they realize they can get a higher price, they cancel your order and claim they are out of stock. Its obvious this is what's happening when the item they claim is out of stock is still listed for sale but at a higher price.

Waited over 2 months for my product from amazon and finally the "shipped" notice came up. Went to post office to get package and no package. Waited another week and still no package. Amazon reimbursed us, but didn't mention over all that waiting time that the product wasn't actually coming. It's not amazon selling products; it seems like amazon lets anyone sell under their name. Been scammed twice now by amazon and they even allowed the seller, of the product we bought, to delete our review by reposting the very same product at a higher price.

I was scammed through Amazon by ordering two 34bls bags of dog food from a seller called SUPPER STUFF. They sent a 2-ounce first-class letter to a completely different address, gave me the same delivery date that other multiple customers received, claiming the package was shipped, and responded with the same message they gave others check your neighbors for the package.

I had an error on my Facebook page that was very annoying, so I goggled ( phone number to fix Facebook errors). Number came up, so I called it. They asked me to tell them what the error was. So I told them. They suggested a number of things to do to fix it. I said something about, "I hope your not a scammer. In a joking voice and he kept saying" Why would you say that" and got very defensive. I said" I know your not a scammer because I called you" He asked me a few odd vuestions and then asked me for my IP address. It was a scammer!!!

They were calling my 92-year-old mother-in-law every 10 minutes telling different stories on the packages that were ordered or had to be returned or some garbage story even though she had dementia thankfully she knew enough to keep her information private but sadly being of that generation she was trying to be kind and answered every phone call every 10 minutes for months long at a time due to a move she just had her phone number changed hopefully this is over

On the fake reviews thing, be sure to count how many reviews are there because a single 5-star review will be able to count as 100% of the reviews. Even if the review is legit, it might just come from someone who doesn't know the difference between a real product from a bootleg. I recently got a bootleg and that's what happened to me, anyways. Just try to trust a product with more reviews because even a scammer won't spend all day creating 50 different accounts.

I had Prime a long time ago. Saw no value for what it cost. Even their prime movies were a scam. Something I could watch on Netflix (a subscription service) was still being charged extra for in prime, also a subscription service. BTW, if you spend a minimum of $25 you can get that free shipping. (If it's not being shipped from an outside company, e.g., second-hand books from Goodwill.)

Now I have to wait until an arbitrary date to get a refund as the 'returns' refund only works if I send them back the product.

Right off the bat i can relate to your first scam mentioned...on amazon...after doing a ton of research about products under a certain niche i chose to order one particular item mainly based on price and its 5 star review by thousands of people i figured If there's that many 5 star reviews how can I go wrong? I was super excited when I received the item And couldn't wait to test it out. Long story short I was very Extremely Just say that Dissatisfied and then Question myself on how in the world could that How do I receive a 5 star rating from so many people? About a week later I received a letter in the mail it was from the vendor of the product I purchased. After reading it at all It all began to make total sense. The letter stated that if I gave them a 5 star rating with a detailed description on why I gave the 5 star on the Amazon page under that product they. Would send me a twenty dollar gift card for amazon. Ha Well as much as I could have used it twenty dollars I figured It would be smarter and better of me to look out for future purchasers of this product and write exactly how dissatisfied i was along w details why and explained everything i just did above even adding the part of questioning myself how that products got such awesome reviews i was thinking it was me using it wrong or something like that never did i think that people were paying to give them that perfext rating so many times i even reported it to amazon to my surprise nothing was done that vendor still is selling that same product with all those perfect reviews minus the one negative one i left...amazon did absolutely nothing never a follow up email or ...just nothing....they don't care they made their cut! Ps the product was $50 js

Phone Calls sometimes American female and other times UK accent.Purporting to have recognised a large amount of cash being taken for a purchase.A request follows to press 1 to speak to an Amazon representative I assume He/She will persuade the victim to divulge their Bank details.The UK accent is educated but totally crooked.Take care and help to trap these idiotic villians.

One scam that was recently done to me was getting a motorized toddler car shipped to me broken/ defective. I requested a return request because the shipping as free before, then I printed out the labels not realizing they didn't have a shipping postage on there. So I would of had to pay for the shipping ($400) when I spent almost $700 on this item with free shipping. Amazon drop off locations wouldn't accept it either. Now I had to file a dispute

It may be like a story to all but it's a fact..now a days we used to get many forward messages in whatsapp in the name of many popular names like amazon flipcart etc..as they will say to click the link and open and inside there will we stuffs like spin the wheel and then send to 20 people's etc and then download a app and etc etc... One of my frd thought it it's true and as all Do she forwarded to many people...and after 1week she knew that's a scam and said too most of the people that it's a scam and but she couldn't reach all to say.... She is actually a very good hearted and a sensitive person.. And a over thinker...so she was feeling very guilty that so thing or some problem will occur to others because of her..it increased her stress level and it's been 5 months after that incidence but still she is thinking abt that and it lead her to take even tablets for depression etc etc..so I'm here frd who tries to proove it it's nothing.. But since I'm a normal phone using person and doesn't know much abt technology... So could u guys any one explains what is really behind this websites.. And ur sayings might help me to convince her more confidently... She is a good student and doing her 2nd year in medicine..help if u can mad we frds trying to bring her out from that guilt.

She mustn’t feel guilty! It’s a common scam and people fall for it every once in a while. But that’s okay. These are scammers behind these fraudulent practices. They impersonate other people or services to get your attention and then your personal information. Tell her that she is only a victim of bad people’s scams and that if nothing has happened since she sent out those messages, probably nothing will because her friends and acquaintances haven’t fallen for the scam. It is okay. I hope this could help her! :)
