Caught about 10 1 lbers yesterday here in northern IL. Caught them on the zman micro jig . Now that I got that out of my system going to start really using the Magdraft , lipless and jerkbaits. Also going to change up to the finesse jigs

Looking good Hank!! Still chilly here but I did some damage with a jig the other day and got a 4lbr on the books for '24. I've caught 1 2.5lb bass on an S waver with about 300 casts devoted to it. It was sweet but not a great ratio when I can get em every 5th cast on a magdraft thru there. Believe it or not I've never caught a bass on an A rig. I love setting them up and getting excited about my colors but no luck in 3 years. Hope ur well, channel looks great. #glide

I have. Used to toss it on a spinner all the time but it’s just way easier on a caster and you can find’em that will cast just as far as a spinner. I have not yet.
