I hate when people open products in the store, once they are opened that starts the monthly count down for expiration. I always wonder if someone stuck their fingers in it as well which is one of the main reasons most of my products are purchased on line. Most of my products are black owned so it comes directly from the company. My favorite deep conditioner right now is from Adwoa Beauty. Absolutely love it.

Diane S sometimes products aren’t sealed so it’s possible to simply open the lid and smell the product, but to each their own. I personally like to know how a product smells before purchasing. Of course if it is sealed, I do not break the seal. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I've known cones was in the product which I love. However, it has a heavy floral scent and the texture is different (more like a cholesterol conditioner). It sits on top of my hair and doesn't absorbs like the original formula. It seems to act as a protein conditioner rather than a moisturizing one

Yes, they are different! Deep conditioners with protein are not as strong as protein treatments. I personally wouldn’t use a deep conditioner with protein weekly as I don’t want to risk getting protein overload. I just pay attention to my hair decide what it needs 💗❤️

My hair loves cones, so that's not an issue. One of the jars had hydrolyzed wheat protein and some ingredients were taken from the original. On the other jar ingredients that I cannot pronounce were added and some were taken from that one as well.

So I just want to say that, majority of these products are for high porosity not low porosity. And if ur having an issue with drying out after washing day u definitely do not have low porosity. But that’s all love yall

Most products don’t specify a particular hair porosity they’re to be used on so I’m not sure how you determined that most of the ones I featured are for high porosity hair. I showed one product that specified that it’s for high porosity hair, but even then that doesn’t mean that someone with a different hair porosity can’t use it. I actually discovered it through fellow low porosity girlies. People should use what works best on their hair period, regardless of how a company brands a product. But I agree that low porosity hair should retain moisture beyond wash day as mine does.
